The Temple Hotel & Spa in Luxor is truly a hidden gem and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. From the beautiful design of the hotel to the exceptional level of service, everything about this place reflects quality and comfort. The moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was incredibly respectful, attentive, and eager to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel at home from day one. One of the best things about The Temple Hotel & Spa is its location. It is close to many of Luxor’s famous attractions while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment away from the busy crowds. This made my trip both exciting and relaxing at the same time.

The hotel's decor is very artistic, with Egyptian elements everywhere. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. There's a rooftop pool with views across the river. The location is excellent, with a Chinese restaurant nearby that I visited every day 😋. The hotel is also very close to Luxor Temple, and you can walk there along the Nile River. Breakfast was plentiful, and I was very satisfied.

There was a computer issue so check in took longer than usual. Only stayed one night. The room was great. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was really good too. Location is great. Not a far walk to Luxor temple, the bazaar and restaurants. A great mini mart across the street with actual prices on items. The prices were better than buying at small shops. The guy at the front desk Mustafa was really amazing. He was so kind and helpful. I'd stay at Temple Hotel again.

When I pulled a drawer, the handle came right off. Then, when I turned on the bathroom faucet, that also came off! I quickly put them back on, worried I'd be charged for them. Overall, it didn't feel worth the price. Though, perhaps other hotels in Luxor are even worse.

During peak check-out hours in the morning, only one elevator was operating. I don't know what the management was thinking. Also, a drawer handle fell off when I pulled it, and the faucet came off when I turned it on. I quickly put them back, afraid of being charged for damage. Maybe this is just the Luxor standard. You can see hot air balloons from their rooftop, though!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Luxor Market. It's clean and tidy, and the package I booked including breakfast and dinner offered great value for money. The only downside is that the room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy at night.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Luxor Temple, which was great for sightseeing. I ended up walking from the hotel to Luxor Temple, then along the Avenue of Sphinxes all the way to Karnak Temple. It was quite a long walk, an experience you don't often get! However, at night, you can hear music and car noise from outside the room until late. It didn't bother me much, but it can be a bit noisy. The view of the Nile at night from the hotel's rooftop was beautiful, though a hotel under construction directly in front did obstruct the view somewhat.

got so tired after this stay that it took me MONTHS to make this review. but ****** staff, especially the reception desk. they'll fake smile at you and try to act like they're not at fault around other guests. when asked if they were ****** the guy literally said "yes i am" (we have on video) and kept chasing after us. we paid almost 100usd and was given a different colored bracelet to differentiate us from other guests. all inclusive was 90usd. we paid that and was told that only breakfast was included and they kept charging and targeting us. never saw them target ***** guests even THOSE WITHOUT a bracelet on. we only saw other purple and yellow bracelets but we were given blue dispute paying the same amount. we were nvr given a towel checkout card or a hotel sleeve card, but was asked about it when checking out saying if we don't produce the towel card they will charge us 10usd. we were given the wrong room (which was hella old and moldy btw); they reserve their corner rooms for people of our race (corroborated with many other's posts on trip and xhs). when we asked to switch they said they're fully booked and nothing they can do but told us to come back in the morning. we did and they still didn't switch us rooms. they then accused us of paying for 1 person versus 2 people BUT ITS THE SAME EXACT ROOM (we did pay for 2 people btw, showed the other guy our confirmation and the guy that accused us named AYMAN walked away, without apologies from either of them). there were a lot of haggling staff and greedy people in there. we've been to cairo, alexandria, siwa, luxor, and had never encountered such a terrible experience. they have NO WIFI btw in the rooms, and even the wifi in the hotel lobby barely works. the "beach" they have sucks and is barely a beach. to get to the better parts of the sea you have to take an uber. the only redeeming part is the guy operating the convenience store. he was nice and we liked the chocolates he sold; good gifts for others. door has a BROKEN lock btw, staff didn't care the night shift reception (the 3 guys pictured) were the worst. other staff were bad (with a few exceptions) but they were worse.

I was deeply injured by an exposed nail sticking out of the headboard at this hotel. The hotel merely sent someone to remove the nail and superficially clean the wound, then washed their hands of the matter. We asked if I needed a tetanus shot since it was a bleeding scratch, but the hotel staff said no. They refused to pay any compensation, not even willing to accompany me for a basic tetanus shot. The staff were unyielding, actually claiming, "A tetanus shot isn't necessary, this is a minor issue." What's even more outrageous is that after providing breakfast twice, they forcibly demanded we sign a statement saying we were "very satisfied with the hotel's service" as a condition for resolving the incident. After we refused to sign, the hotel actually demanded we pay for those two breakfasts. And later, they even denied the existence of the nail altogether, claiming they bore no responsibility. Who would dare stay at a hotel that so disregards guest safety, handles problems perfunctorily, and even turns the tables on you? I sincerely advise everyone, for your own safety and rights, to resolutely avoid this place! And be sure to record and save evidence at all times, in case they try to deny accountability.
