Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center

👍🏻 Absolutely fantastic! The backyard is right by the Nile, and you can book a boat trip to watch the sunset in the evening – it definitely exceeded my expectations. I was traveling solo, and they still took the boat out just for me. Plus, the room offers stunning views of the Nile.

This was the only hotel that provided slippers and toothbrushes. There's no parking, and I was charged 400 EGP by this person (referring to the photo) for parking on the street. Luxor hotels are generally on par with guesthouses in a rural county in China.

The hotel has an excellent location, less than 2km from Luxor Temple. You can see the Valley of the Kings and hot air balloons in the early morning from across the river. The room is spacious and the service is good.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Although the style is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Offers views of the Nile. Both the night view and hot air balloons can be seen from the balcony. Upon checking in, we discovered this was the same hotel our delegation stayed at. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, proactively introducing the room and arranging for us to have a room one floor higher for a better view. Since there were three of us and no king beds available, they kindly added an extra bed. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Luxor.
