"I chose this hotel because it's very close to the Haihe River and newer than the Lishun. The front desk and room service were excellent, always trying their best to accommodate guests' requests. The room had a great view and a small balcony. The interior decor was very elegant and picture-perfect. The hotel lobby itself was a sight to behold, with a fantastic artistic ambiance. The second floor and the sky garden were also beautiful. I truly felt this was the best hotel environment I've ever stayed in. Parking was free, and it's less than 2 km from the main attractions. There's even a small park right across from the entrance. The buffet restaurant and cafe were beautifully decorated, with a rich variety of dishes, including all the Tianjin specialties. My friend was very satisfied. This is definitely a place I'd come back to regularly! Several famous shaved ice places deliver to the hotel in under ten minutes, which was a nice bonus. A big thank you to the housekeeping staff, and the front desk lady was also incredibly thoughtful. Check-in and check-out were super fast! I really loved it! I will definitely return to this hotel, especially since the price was so affordable!"

"Let's start with the positives: 1: The hotel's location is quite good. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Ferris wheel and 10 minutes to the Ancient Culture Street pier. 2: The soundproofing in the room is decent, and the shower pressure is excellent. 3: The overall service is acceptable, and breakfast offers a good variety. However, the downsides are also very apparent: 1: The room type names are incredibly misleading. I specifically chose the 'Flowing River View Twin Room' but ended up with what felt more like a 'River Canal Prison View Room.' If this is the view, they really shouldn't use 'Haihe River View' in the name; it's too deceptive for consumers. If this view were a free upgrade, I wouldn't complain, but paying for it made me feel like I was getting ripped off. 2: The facilities and equipment are outdated. The power outlets by the bed are few and loose; I had to use some mechanical ingenuity to keep plugs from falling out, and half my devices had to be charged by the kettle. The hairdryer in the bathroom felt like something from ten years ago—heavy as a dumbbell, but the air it produced was as gentle as a natural breeze, barely effective. If they can't afford a Dyson, surely they can at least get a domestic brand like Refa? Overall, the experience was very mediocre. If it were a 500-yuan business trip, I could accept it, but for a vacation, I'm truly disappointed and won't choose this hotel again."

"This is an older international hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it does have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The mattress is a bit soft, and the TV doesn't support screen casting. The shower water pressure was good, and the room itself was spacious. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall."

"Celebrated Mother's Day with my mom and once again stayed at her favorite Shangri-La. This time, the Horizon Club on the 32nd floor was amazing! We had a panoramic view of the blue sky, white clouds, and the sea and river. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, we comfortably indulged in afternoon tea and happy hour drinks. The experience was fantastic!!! My mom was so happy!"

Check-in was efficient and smooth, and she patiently and meticulously answered all my questions throughout the process. Any needs I had during my stay were promptly addressed. She was thoughtful and proactive, offering helpful tips for local attractions and transportation routes, consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism. The hotel's location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and elegant, offering stunning views of the Hai River. The living environment is comfortable and tranquil, with comprehensive and well-maintained facilities. The St. Regis truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end luxury hotel; the attentive and meticulous service made me feel exceptionally comfortable and well-cared for. Thanks to Aiden's thoughtful service, this trip was incredibly smooth, and the experience was truly exceptional. They're like an ambassador of the city – a good hotel makes you smile with gratitude when you close your eyes and recall your trip. The Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe is precisely one such hotel. Everyone we met was so warm, truly going above and beyond to surprise and delight us. 1️⃣ **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located near Ancient Culture Street, the Italian Style Area, Wanghailou Church, and Runzeyuan. It’s an easy 10-minute walk or a quick taxi ride (about 10-something RMB). 2️⃣ **View:** The river view rooms offer excellent vistas. At night, the neon lights on both sides of the Haihe River reflect beautifully, and boats glide across the water, creating a stunning scene. A heads-up: not all rooms have balconies with openable doors, so you might want to confirm this when booking. 3️⃣ **Room:** River view rooms start from 60 square meters and include a balcony. The first round of mini-bar drinks is complimentary. There’s a spacious sofa, perfectly comfortable for an extra person to sleep on. For just over 1,000 RMB a night, the value for money is excellent! 4️⃣ **Service:** Every single staff member at the Banyan Tree was polite, friendly, warm, and enthusiastic. When one of the sinks in our room was a bit clogged, they not only promptly fixed it but also sent a fruit platter as an apology. Mineral water was replenished very promptly; seeing that we were a larger group (3 adults and 1 child), they even left seven or eight bottles, making it convenient for the child. We brought a swimming ring but forgot the pump, and surprisingly, the pool area had one, which solved our problem! The hotel offers transfer services: a round trip from Tianjin Station to the hotel costs ¥80, and a one-way trip is ¥50. While slightly more expensive than a private car, the hotel uses large, clean, and comfortable business vans. Since we had a baby with us, the hotel graciously extended our check-out time. 5️⃣ **Facilities:** When traveling with children, besides choosing a five-star hotel, we typically look for rooms over 60 square meters and a kids' club. While the Banyan Tree's kids' club isn't huge and lacks toy cars, the upside is that it was empty! The benefit of traveling during off-peak times meant our child had the entire club to themselves.👏👏👏 The swimming pool area has two heated pools, which are more than enough for kids to play in, and the adult pool water was very clean. Ordering takeout was super easy, with a robot delivering food directly to the room. I must particularly commend the front door staff. Every time we took a taxi, they would open the car door, handle our luggage, fold the stroller – they did everything they could. We left something behind, and they brought it out to us on a luggage trolley, very professional. Although the room decor isn't brand new, overall, it's very clean, with an extra-large bathtub. They even provided multiple charging adapters, mosquito repellent, and corner protectors, showing great attention to detail. 6️⃣ **Features:** The hotel's main theme is Zen. There's a dedicated meditation space. I absolutely loved the hotel's signature fragrance – it smells very high-end, and the scent of the hand lotion lingered for a long time; I even wanted to buy a bottle to take home. ❇️ **Minor point:** If I had to find a fault, it would be that while the artwork in the rooms is Zen-inspired, the dark tones could be adjusted to create a warmer atmosphere. 💕 If you're visiting Tianjin with your little one, I highly recommend the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe. It will definitely add an extra layer of joy to your wonderful memories! Grateful for the experience! ❤️"

"When I came to Tianjin this time, I chose the Four Seasons over the Ritz-Carlton, seemingly because of its better location. Indeed, it's very close to Binjiang Dao, making it super convenient to walk to popular spots like Xiao Pang Bao Bing, Guxiangzhai, Zhonglihua, and Nanlou Jianbing. Of course, because it was a holiday, these places had longer queues. Next door is the IFC Mall, and opposite is Joy City, which has Sushiro, though that also had long lines. However, the room itself was quite ordinary; the facilities were definitely dated, and the toilet didn't even have a bidet. The only upside was that the room was fairly spacious, and from a high floor, you could enjoy the night view. But with ongoing construction nearby, I was woken up by noise around 6 AM every day. The room cleaning standard was even more subpar. This is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel that doesn't replenish daily amenities after they've been used up – theoretically, you should get a fresh set every day. I'm not sure if this is hotel policy or if the cleaning staff pocketed them. The most ridiculous thing was that on the first day, the TV wouldn't even turn on, even though high-end hotels usually have a welcome screen playing. Overall, this Four Seasons feels more like a four-star hotel; next time, I'll definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton. Finally, regarding breakfast, the selection was really limited, with pretty much the same options every day. The Tianjin-style Jianbing Guozi even lacked sauce, which was honestly comical. This is the first time I've had no expectations for a hotel breakfast; it wasn't even as good as Zhonglihua's steamed bread. During check-out, no one asked about my stay experience. Well, I guess they probably know they have many flaws..."

"Whenever I visit Tianjin, Tangla Hotel is always my top choice. It has an excellent location, close to Xikai Church and Binjiang Road Pedestrian Street, and not far from Wudadao, Porcelain House, and Tianjin Station – truly in the most bustling part of Tianjin. Being a super high-rise, you can enjoy panoramic city views while soaking in the bathtub. The rooms are spacious, the service is great, and most importantly, it offers fantastic value for money. This time, I brought friends along, and both families were very satisfied."

"I chose the Westin for it's location and standard. It answered my expectations of comfort, cleanliness and service. The twin room was big and quiet, even though there was some refurbishment work, and considering the hotel is on a busy street. The breakfast choice was large and of good quality (both continental and local) with fresh vegetables and fruits. The coffee machine was definitely a plus. It is very well located, 5 mins walk from Yingkoudao subway station, and a few steps away from cultural houses, restaurants, and malls."
