"This hotel is perfectly located right on the main street. I loved that it's just across the road from a morning market and a street full of breakfast stalls. The old town is also within walking distance. The area around is open and quiet, except for the school across the street, which can be a bit noisy in the mornings when they play announcements over the loudspeaker. Other than that, it's very peaceful. The room facilities are new, and the soundproofing is good – I was very satisfied with my stay. It happened to be International Women's Day during my visit, and the hotel even sent up a small taro-flavored cake, which was a thoughtful touch and delicious!"

"We brought our child to Zhangzhou for a short holiday. Xiao Zhuang was incredibly thoughtful, keeping track of our itinerary from the moment she knew we were coming. When we checked in, Xiao Wei at the front desk saw we had a child and immediately gave our little one a small gift from Trip.com, which made our child very happy! Aunt Zhang Julan, who cleaned our room, noticed our child wanted to sleep on the sofa and very proactively helped us make up the bed. I'm so grateful to all the staff we met this trip; they made our journey so comfortable and enjoyable."

"Highly recommend this family-friendly hotel! It's incredibly convenient for traveling with kids. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was huge, featuring a large bathtub and a separate shower, which was fantastic. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and thoughtful, checking us in efficiently. They even proactively upgraded us to a room with a better view. To get such excellent service and environment at this price point is truly amazing value for money. The hotel lobby is tranquil and quiet, and there's free parking available. It's perfect whether you're bringing the kids along or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip!"

"The hotel's facilities are undoubtedly impressive and grand. However, I have to complain about the service. I accidentally left a cleaning cloth in the room, and when I returned, there was a note in the room, which felt very offensive and unprofessional. Also, at breakfast, I heard the sound of stainless steel cutlery falling. When I looked, the butter had completely fallen on the floor. The staff didn't even pretend to do anything; they just picked it up and put it back without even washing it. Is this the standard of service and training for Kaiyuan's management now?"

"Our overall experience during this stay was incredibly satisfying. The pool team, in particular, was outstanding. Special mention goes to Chen and Li, who worked from 6 AM to 3 PM; they displayed exceptional professionalism. They were consistently focused and responsible during their shifts, never distracted by their phones, always attentive to the children's safety, and provided meticulous and appropriate service. Their dedication and expertise left us with a very deep and positive impression of the hotel, even making us consider extending our stay. While I don't recall the names of the other pool staff, they too left a strong and positive impression."

"When the hotel first opened, I saw a video about it, so when I came to Zhangzhou this time, I chose to stay here. Good aspects: The environment is indeed excellent, with a large footprint. The hotel as a whole is grand, and the greenery and views are very pleasant. Soundproofing is decent, and the rooms and public areas are clean. The complimentary sweet soup was delicious, and the fruit was fresh and thoughtful. No strange smells. The parking lot is spacious and clean. Areas for improvement: 1. During check-in, the front desk was aware that three people, including one child, would be staying in the room, but they didn't ask if we needed extra toiletries, nor were any provided in the room. 2. Throughout our stay, we encountered several staff members, but surprisingly, only four of them actively greeted guests: the young man who delivered disposable cups that evening, the cleaning lady (PA) in the public restroom in the lobby the next day, the staff member in charge of the coffee machine at breakfast, and one front desk staff member during check-out. Many others we saw simply walked past us. 3. The room (5320) had insufficient power outlets. Of the few available, the one at the bar counter was not only unusable, but the entire panel was about to fall off when unplugging something. Additionally, the small desk lacked a tabletop outlet, only having one on the floor, which required crouching to use. 4. The floor of the shower stall and the outer floor were basically at the same level, and the drainage trench was shallow. When showering, water would overflow, which was a bit awkward. 5. As other guests mentioned online, the souvenir was indeed 'invisible' and required guests to ask for it. When we checked out, it was Mid-Autumn Festival, and the staff member offered a fan as a gift, which differed from what other guests reportedly received. It also had lower relevance and brand coherence. 6. The Ctrip benefits included a free Didi (ride-hailing) service to the ancient city. The front desk also knew we might go to the ancient city after checking in and were planning to take a taxi, but they did not proactively ask if we needed help arranging a car. In summary, these are my and my husband's brief impressions after our one-day stay. Overall, for the price during the National Day holiday, the hotel offered very good value in terms of hardware services. However, for female guests hoping for certain 'soft' services in a five-star hotel, it doesn't meet the value and expectations for its price point."

"The hotel is located within a large resort complex and overall, it's quite good. The environment is lovely, close to the river, and the night view is beautiful. It's also quite close to Zhangzhou Ancient City; a quick scan and a few minutes on an e-bike will get you there. The hotel offers outdoor children's play facilities and electric sightseeing buggies that you can scan to use. The evening breeze is especially pleasant. Right next to the hotel is an outdoor hot spring, but the service there was a bit mediocre. The dinner buffet at the restaurant was pretty good for 80 per person, with a wide variety of dishes. However, breakfast was 88 per person and had much fewer options, which made the price difference hard to understand. We stayed in an RV with our child during the Chinese New Year. The RV was a bit far out, but calling for a shuttle made getting around very convenient. The soundproofing wasn't great, so it got a bit noisy in the mornings with people passing by. Upon checkout, we received a souvenir: baby talcum powder. Unless you have a small infant, its practicality is somewhat lacking. Overall, I'm quite satisfied and would recommend it."

"Our family had a very pleasant stay here on this trip! The facilities and amenities were excellent, and the service attitude was top-notch. Fresh fruit was replenished daily, and a different comforting sweet soup was offered each night, showing great thoughtfulness. The chefs at the restaurant truly deserve commendation – the variety, taste, and unique offerings were all fantastic. Breakfast was also very generous. Suggestions for improvement: (1) Consider offering night fishing. The experience would be greatly enhanced if some rooms allowed guests to fish directly from their balconies. (2) The price of the fish caught was a bit high; we'd be more inclined to buy and try them if they were a little more affordable. (3) The addition of outdoor hot springs would be a great bonus. (4) During peak dining hours, it felt like the staff were quite overwhelmed, so increasing the number of servers might be helpful."
