"I had a 17-hour layover in Incheon on my way back to China from the US, so I chose this hotel with an airport shuttle to rest for a night. I was hoping for a comfortable stay to wash away my travel fatigue, but I ended up very dissatisfied.
The service attitude was what bothered me the most. It was off-season, and although I booked last minute, I didn't get a low-priced room. However, the staff's attitude was very cold and poor. Even with multiple front desk staff and only a few guests waiting, they didn't open more check-in counters. Several staff members were just chatting, frequently deferring to others, making me wait in line for a long time to check in. The person who handled my check-in didn't smile at all and seemed very impatient.
Finally, they gave me a room on the second floor with only rooftops visible outside the window. Given that it was off-season, I strongly suspect they gave me such a room because I'm Chinese. The scale in the room had no battery, the showerhead leaked, and the toilet had many minor issues.
While the hotel had several restaurants, they were all quite empty and bleak.
The only upside is that most places accepted WeChat Pay and Alipay, which saved me the hassle of exchanging Korean Won."
