Reviews of Hotel Alpina Luzern

Clean and spacious! They have a microwave, cutlery, and a water dispenser! They also provide a visitor card for free public transport within the city. My only minor complaint is that there's only heating in winter.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent, and the room was spacious. The service was incredibly prompt and efficient. When we reported that the main room heating wasn't working, the staff immediately provided us with a portable heater， which made the room warm and comfortable. Great service!

No air conditioner and have lots of insect in the corner.. However, the location of the hotel is so good.

I originally booked the 3-star Hotel Alpina, but upon arrival, a sign directed us to check in at the Hotel Monopol next door. We then found out we had been upgraded to the 4-star Hotel Monopol. The room was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise.

Room was good, although there is no air-conditioning so the windows had to be opened to let air flow. The ground floor had a bar/club which created some noise through the night, so that is something to take note when the windows are opened.

We visited Lucerne as part of our honeymoon. The staff were friendly and provided recommendations on the places to visit. They also upgraded our room and we are thankful.

Very good location. Less than 5 mins walk to hotel. Check-in and check-out were done at Monopol hotel which is a couple of meters away. Many shops and convenience shops around.

The location of the hotel is great that the train station is just across the road. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Our room is having some problems initially but the staff is helpful and manages to change another room for us.

Everything is great for the hotel， location and room is nice。 there is a bar on the ground floor that could be a bit noisy if you open the window at night．。No air conditioning， but we came on cool days．

Located 5 min from Lucerne train station. Got to check in and out at Mono Hotel which is actually bigger. It’s a clean traditional room. Likes the breakfast spread and quality. Got coffee machine in room too.

Good location. Near the Lucerne main station. Room is clean. No air condition but fan is provided.

Room is clean. However do expect a basin in the front of your bed and 2 fans as there are no air conditioner. Always keep your luggages with you and don’t leave it unattended. The hotel has only a security camera in the entrance area, there are no other cameras placed in the hotel. Just be extra vigilant!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpina Luzern! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Lucerne and just a short walk from the train station and iconic Chapel Bridge. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The hotel’s charm and excellent service made my visit truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Lucerne !
