First, the location was not convenient. When we arrived there wasn’t anyone at the desk. We called out. No answer. We even knocked on and opened the office door. No answer, Then we stepped outside and saw a young girl leaned against the wall. We asked if she worked there and told her we were trying to check in. She acted like she didn’t want to be there. No welcome, no “thank you for being Hilton members,” no “ here’s your bottled water.” We made one trip to carry items to our room. We saw that there wasn’t a coffeemaker in the room. I went back to the car and mentioned to the front desk person that there wasn’t a coffeemaker. In a bored voice she replied, “Hilton made us take them out.” Although the room was clean, it was small! The sink was in the room and the bathroom had a very small shower opposite the commode. We will not be staying here again. The hotel doesn’t deserve the Hilton brand.

Horrible at opening making sure hotel kept reservations from previous owner. Many many women left without a place to stay.

had a reservation for 2 rooms for Oct 10th to 12th. It had been made under Sleep Inn 10 months in advance. I received an email from Sleep stating that they had sold the hotel and we needed to contact the new hotel to confirm our reservation. I did this immediately. I was told by your staff that my reservation was there and we would all set. Upon arrival, I was informed that I did not have a reservation. Apparently, when I called to confirm they were looking at the “old system.” I would like to know how this happened. I should have been told I needed to make a new reservation when I called, or that I would need to call back when the new system was in place. Why would you even have access/ be looking at/ the old companies information. This could have ruined our weekend. We were blessed to have a friend offer us a place to stay. I know several women who ended up having to sleep in their car, or went home and missed the conference all together. Your company should have, at the very least, had a manager there to talk to instead of that poor girl having to take the blunt of angry customers who where left stranded because of your negligence. You company failed in every way possible in this situation.

We had reservations for Oct. 10-12. We arrived at the hotel to find we didn’t have a reservation. Even though we had verified before coming. Will never again stay at this establishment.

While I had an issue with my booking, Sonja saved it! I showed up after 5pm and found out my listing had somehow been canceled. She pulled on her network to get me a hotel room for the same price approved by my employer and made it so that I had a place to stay that night. Thank you Sonja!

Sonya was very helpful, friendly and professional and helped us out when we needed it. The rooms are very clean and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Because of Sonya's great customer service and genuineness we will be staying at this motel again.

Great stay. The beds were comfy and shower spacious. I love having the shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. Breakfast was good. Coffee great. Although they were doing remodeling, we still had a comfortable stay. Sonja even called to confirm we were coming and had our keys ready for a quick check in because we arrived at 10 p.m. will stay again. Close to our reason for coming to Lynchburg and other amenities were close. Sonja was sweet and helpful.

I gave the hotel a four only because we were surprised to learn that none of the rooms have microwaves. That meant after a busy day of sightseeing we had to go to the breakfast room to warm up our dinner we brought with us. The hot water was very slow to arrive in the shower but once it was there it was hot. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our eggs with sliced ham. Plenty of other choices as well.

Very clean everywhere. Good breakfast. Amy at the reservation desk was super nice & helpful. Called and asked for early check-in. She made it happen! All the staff was friendly. Have stayed here on multiple occasions and never a bad experience.

Sonja was most helpful on the phone when I was having trouble making a reservation online. She went above and beyond to help. Prior to our arrival we called to confirm our reservation and spoke with Ami who was also very helpful and pleasant. Upon arrival Megan handled our checkin quickly and also when asked provided us with a great local place for dinner which we found was an excellent choice and we enjoyed our evening. Our room was just what we requested and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent with nothing lacking.

The location was great for activities at Liberty University. There was nothing spectacular about the aesthetic of the hotel. It was reasonably clean, with a few minor needs for improvement, like the ceiling above guest check-in. The staff members were amiable and personable. I particularly liked the housekeeping staff on my floor. She was happy and played cool music (not loud) to make her day more pleasant. The room was small, particularly the bathroom. But the room was clean and reasonably comfortable for one night's stay. This hotel offers free wi-fi and DirectTV. I would probably stay at the Sleep Inn again when visiting Lynchburg.

First I want to start by giving a special thanks to Sonja at guest services she was awesome she made our stay the best ! She went above and beyond for us we were late checking we called her she said she would wait for us and she did and mind you she was getting off ! That meant a lot to us on how she went above and beyond for us and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay ! She awesome thank you Sonja

We we're up for a track meet ( Go Converse ) and used AAA to find our hotel this time and boy we done good. The Room was quaint and spacious enough for us. Room set up was nice really liked the two teer lock on the the room door. Rooms were really clean and well kept. Carpet in hall could use some work as in replace instead of patched. The bed slept absolutely great just firm enough for all activities, we woke up well rested for our ride home. The staff that was on duty Saturday morning of the 3rd ( Amy ) and coworker ( slim dark blond hair) equally as friendly and helpful especially in pointing us in the direction of local eateries not chains. Thank you both, you were both professional, friendly and knowledgeable about there town. (Corporate booonuuus) Now let us not leave out Mrs. Mandy she handles the dining room and breakfast, after feeding a bunch of marines you would not have known it by the way she kept the room and the food which she shined at. Thank you Mrs. Mandy being from this Army veteran for treating our boys so great (hoooraa). She was gracious and friendly listen too us drone on about our boys and sharing great stories herself without missing a beat at her job. I now know I like sausage gravy & biscuits because of her :) . We hope to see her again, do not let that one go. Next year were gonna check first to see if there still their. Mall is close by emergency service across the street and a stones throw from the university We would stay there again they were better than there rates. Four star in our book. o by the by who ever was on duty Feb. 1st evening when I called should stop mentioning J. F. (3 times) when asked about local eateries and town charm. Not everyone is a fan of a fallen minister. I do look forward to visiting Mrs. Joy's Absolutely Fabulous Treats that the local track coach mentioned, and the other bakeries.
