As a general rule, I appreciate B&B hotels for their quality, cleanliness, and value for money. The one in Lyon Gambztta is the worst B&B I've ever stayed in. It doesn't look very clean; the renovation seems to have been rushed, the spaces are aging poorly, and it doesn't feel tidy. The service is also terrible. It took me over half an hour to retrieve my room code from the kiosk, which kept crashing, and of course, the hotline wasn't answering. All this because the receptionist refused to check me in, even though I arrived 30 minutes before the rooms were available. When I returned at the end of the day, there was no one at reception; in any case, I didn't have the entry code. The rest of the ordeal and the sheer hassle with the kiosk are described above. I have very bad memories of this very unpleasant experience. The worst part is that nobody cares, nobody apologized or anything. Incredible nonchalance.
