Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16

Once again, I chose this hotel. It's definitely a five-star experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. Plus, there's a bus stop right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to other places. There are also all sorts of restaurants nearby.

The hotel's exterior looks a bit dated, but the room itself was surprisingly awesome, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is super convenient, and the view from the window is great. The price through Trip.com was excellent, basically half of what the front desk quoted.

Great, with a beautiful view from the window. The location is excellent; it's a 10-minute walk to St. Paul's Ruins, and there's a bus stop right downstairs with direct routes to the border crossing. The room facilities are a bit dated, but you can still see the past glory of a five-star hotel in the lobby and facade.

My kids absolutely loved it! The variety of food was great, and they had a fantastic time playing in the hotel's own swimming pool.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and complete facilities. The front desk staff are professional and enthusiastic, and the room service is attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Macau. It's truly great, I personally highly recommend it!

Stayed here a decade ago and chose it again – this classic chain really maintains its quality. It's a bit old but very clean. The breakfast is good too! If I visit again, I'd definitely pick this place. The bus stop downstairs is convenient, and it's an easy walk to Senado Square (specifically the Ruins of St. Paul's) and St. Lazarus' Quarter. Plus, any small restaurant downstairs serves up great food.

The hotel is very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's. You can easily walk through the alleys and grab a bite to eat on your way there. If you're coming from Hong Kong, take the ferry to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. There are no free shuttle buses from there anymore, but a taxi ride only takes about 15 minutes and costs 55 MOP. Many taxi drivers will try to charge you a 1:1:1 exchange rate for MOP, HKD, and RMB, so it's a good idea to have some cash on hand. The room was quite spacious, and while it's a bit dated, the price was still pretty good!

The hotel is quite large, and it must have been famous back in the day. However, after the downstairs area closed, many of the surrounding shops followed suit. Luckily, it's located in the old town, with plenty of good food options nearby, and it's also very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's. The hotel rooms are reasonably spacious, and it's pretty convenient for getting around.
