I always stay at the Sintra Hotel whenever I'm in Macau, simply because of its excellent location. It's right on Senado Square, just a six or seven-minute walk to Grand Lisboa, and very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's as well.

The location is nearby to all tourism location ! I enjoyed it very much! I can walk to most of the photo stop in Macau !

We had a great stay in this hotel. It’s just 8-10 mins walk from Senado Square, it’s quite and convenient. The staff are very nice and accommodating, and very friendly too. They always greet and smile each time they see us, which made us more comfortable during our stay. We will definitely book and stay with them again in the future.

Location is great if you’re planning to visit popular tourist spots. Cleanliness was well maintained too — the toilet was spotless. However, the check-in experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ========== (TL;DR) Imagine you had to experience this after a 4 hours flight ========== The young female receptionist I encountered on arrival handled things very poorly. She kept insisting she couldn’t find my booking, smiling the entire time as if it were a joke. Instead of checking properly herself, she kept handing me random printed bookings, one after another, asking me if any of them were mine. It honestly felt like I was doing her job. If the names were even slightly similar to mine, I would understand. But she passed me almost every booking she had in her hands, including ones with clearly Japanese or ********* names that were nowhere close to mine. I even asked her, “So does that mean I’m supposed to sleep on the streets tonight?” Yet she still giggled, with zero sense of apology or urgency. It made me wonder if she had ever been trained in basic customer service or professional ethics. Eventually, she finally handed me the correct booking with my name. But even then, after I confirmed it was mine, she said, “I gave you this earlier and you said it wasn’t yours.” Like… excuse me? You’ve been passing me completely unrelated bookings the whole time?! I initially wanted to rate the service 1 star, but I added one more because the hotel cleaner left a good impression, the cleaner auntie was polite and attentive. ================================================================================ Facilities: The TV in my room was broken, so I’m guessing it was just for decoration. Ventilation also seemed poorly designed. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was woken up early in the morning by cigarette smoke seeping in from outside my door. Not recommended for light sleepers either, as the soundproofing is weak. I could clearly hear people talking outside, though I’m not sure if they were in the corridor or inside another room.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly, even though they didn’t speak English, but they tried to help me all the time.

Recommended by Xiaohongshu, I stayed for 3 nights. Every night at 11 PM, I'd hear drilling noises. The soundproofing is really poor; I could even hear water running next door. I don't recommend it. It's more of a hostel than a hotel.

I stayed here for a three-night business trip and was very impressed. The Wi-Fi was exceptionally fast, which was essential for my meetings. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the room had a large desk and plenty of power outlets. I also appreciated the quiet hallways, which made it easy to get some rest after a long day. Highly recommend for any business traveler.

It was incredibly noisy. I couldn't get any sleep the first night; there was a constant buzzing sound throughout the hallways on both the second and third floors, making it impossible to rest. I booked for two nights and wanted to check out a day early, but a male staff member refused. Later, a female staff member was much more accommodating and moved me to a room on the fourth floor. While the noise was still present, it was slightly better. Just something for everyone to consider before booking!

First time in Macau, I booked this hotel blindly online and it turned out to be excellent in terms of location and experience. Firstly, there's an elevator. The room isn't big, but it's well-equipped and, believe it or not, they even provide universal power outlets. Secondly, there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient. Just a few steps away is a great supermarket, 'San Fung Croche Supermarket'. Plus, there's a bus stop right downstairs that connects well to the Taipa line for the airport. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is good, but my room’s cable was not working

The location is convenient and well-situated, making it easy to get around. However, the place itself is fairly basic and doesn’t offer anything particularly special. It’s a decent option if you’re just staying for a couple of nights and don’t need many amenities.
