Best Apartments in Mackay

My apartment was spacious, comfortable, modern and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and large balcony overlooking the river. It has everything required for a short or long stay including washing machine and drier. It could only be improved by making it feel a bit less ”blank”. e.g. needs some pictures on the walls, cushions for the sofa (had to use pillows!). Good facilities - nice pool (although the hard wood sun loungers could do with some cushions!), small gym and a sauna. Location is right on the river next to the lagoon and a big shopping centre, just a short walk into the city centre. Very quiet, no noise disturbance at all. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. Recommend!

Clean and tidy, like it

Overall the experience was good but the service in the Restaurant was pretty poor with one night having to wait a hour for my meal as they had missed my order...the 2nd night was half an hour which was a bit better but still too long for a restaurant

The hotel is clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep. It is very close to the sea, and you can see the sea when you open the balcony door. The room has its own refrigerator, microwave, bowls and plates. I bought something to eat and put it directly in the refrigerator. The front desk of the hotel is also very welcoming and will visit again.

Arrived to find it difficult to park, first room very claustrophobic, requested a bigger room this was accommodated by a lovey staff member. (We were billed for this no issue) Very nice room, large and all amenities 😁. In the morning we discovered our vehicle had been ransacked, belongings stolen. We believed this to be a secure car park, on investigation the management had been advised the gate is broken, however not dealt with nor any signage to advise this is the case. The police and ladies on the front counter extremely helpful, yes there is CCTV showing the offenders. Now we wait. Disappointed the motel has made no contact with us, if staying there be extra careful. Fortunately we were returning home. No staff on site at night. There is a on all number provided. Maybe security would be helpful. I have placed a call to the management- waiting.
