Holiday Inn Express & Suites HUNTSVILLE AIRPORT by IHG

Rooms were clean. I took my grandchildren to the pool. The smell of chlorine was so bad my eyes were watering. My grandson had a coughing spell. I thought he had ingested some of the water but he told me he did not. I removed them from the indoor pool and got to our room. I made him stand in front of the cool air and he stopped coughing. I know that the chlorine levels have to be high. Maybe some extra ventilation would help in that area. My overall stay was very good. I would definitely stay again.

Clean comfortable room, very little hall noise. Staff were nice and accommodating. Didn't need shuttle but saw it right by front door ready to go. Will definitely choose this one again when in area

I stayed overnight for a long road trip. I really appreciated a clean and quiet place to rest for the night .

Everything was as expected. ---- One surprise was the ease in using the tv set. I turned it on, and the last channel selected came in. No commercial interface to navigate through - that's an improvement.

The room was not spotless, there was a slight issue however the management was quick to address the issue.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for about 45 minutes. Called the front desk and asked if we should evacuate and they rudely told me “Nah, it’s nothing.”

The room was really noisy. I have stayed in other hotels on that road before and did not hear everything outside. Other then the pool being down everything else was good

Room most definitely felt neglected. And staff didn’t do much, some were really rude!
