This custom wooden house is set far back from the road with a long dirt driveway on a peaceful, tranquil, retreat setting. Walk in the front door to an open concept with cathedral ceilings and beautiful custom wood work. Inside, you’ll find a charmingly updated interior that combines all the modern conveniences with character to spare – notice the pressed-tin backsplash in the kitchen and main bedroom suite’s bathroom and the antique dresser painted in shabby chic blue and now serving as a coffee station. Brew yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and start the day in the enclosed sunroom at the back of the house, with a sweet hammock swing, Boho egg chairs, and an overstuffed sofa, all with a view of the trees behind the home. Breakfast prep is a breeze in the full kitchen, which features all the appliances and plenty of counter space. When it’s time to eat, you’ll have your choice of a breakfast bar or built-in, window-front dining nook, which features a live-edge wooden crank table. After a fun day out, head home and get the wood stove on the main floor crackling. Grab one of the many board games on hand for some family together-time or, for a bit of TV, settle into the loft seating area and stream your favorite shows. No matter how you spend your evening, this darling cabin in the woods will be cozy and comfortable.
