Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison Southwest, WI

Love this hotel! We have stayed on this property many times over the years during our annual Black Friday shopping weekend. We have always found this hotel to be very quiet and clean, with comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, a warm and welcoming entrance and an incredibly friendly and helpful front-desk staff (Thanks Lucy!) Convenient location close to great shopping and many dining options— Great value, highly recommend!

Room was nice and pool was good, though there weren’t towels stocked. Breakfast was great, and location felt quiet despite being near a major roadway. Staff was great!

Loved the staff. They were very friendly people. The room was fine, nothing super special, but nice. Would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Breakfast was satisfactory; but the biscuits were hard. Overall very good.

The Hotel Y 5/5 Excellent My room - my room 118, must had water damage from the above floor. So massive water stains. Cosmetic within the room. I think there was food splatter on the wall where the refrigerator was located. The pool area looked like it needs some heavy remodeling. There’s a door to nowhere in the pool area (2nd floor) that looks super tacky. The conference room which you walk past looks like more of a storage unit - block that windows from customers peeking in there. Looks tacky. The hotel was conveniently located with graduation activities from uofw Madison. So location was good in terms of being near family.

Overall, the property was clean, but it is dated. They are clearly working renovations, so they are trying. The photos make it seem as though they have a nice family pool area with a slide. The pool area is disappointing, though. It is clean, but the slide is no longer there. Both the washing pool and the main pool are quite chilly. For the price we paid, we won’t return; however , at a lower price point, this property would be fine.

Overall enjoyable stay. There was some unfinished construction/remodeling in some of the hallways which was a bit off-putting. Pool area had a sign up that the hot tub was out of order, but it seemed to be functioning when I tried it. When I first entered my room, there was an odd dust-like substance on part of the comforter and on the floor next to the HVAC unit. I wiped it with a towel. The room was otherwise clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the location was very ideal for me. Will definitely consider a stay again in the future.

The family enjoyed the pool, other than the hot tub timer not working. The property is undergoing renovations, which are needed, but the staff was wonderful and made us feel welcomed.

This hotel is run down. Not very clean either. Bed was not comfortable.
