Advantages: If you are here for shopping, the hotel is in a very good location with a lot of water. It is very comfortable to take a shower and wash your hair.
Other aspects are really lackluster, let alone the breakfast. Anyway, breakfast abroad is like that, but there are rotten apples. I thought they were persimmons because of my poor eyesight, and the rotten parts looked like the butts of persimmons. The bed is soft, which may be uncomfortable if you are used to sleeping on a firmer bed. The pajamas I changed out of were thrown on the suitcase, and the spoon I used to eat the tiramisu hadn't been changed in the past two days. After all, the price during Christmas is two thousand to three thousand per night, which is still a bit disappointing. Oh, I took two bottles of water from the refrigerator. It was the same as the water delivered every day. I thought it was delivered, so I drank it. When I checked out, I was charged 2.5 bottles. After all, I stayed for four nights in a row.

I've stayed at the Casona before back in 2018 and had an excellent stay. The main issue this time was the location of my room. It was literally 10m from the front check in desk - so i was woken up around 7am with the noise from the lobby.
I'd challenge you to find a room closer to the lobby in any hotel. There are two rooms on the right as you enter - i would strongely recommend that you ask to be moved if given one of these. The room itself was of a good standard - a nice big bed with an excellent power shower.
Breakfast was rather disappointing with a limited selection.

Excellent location in a beautiful part of the city. Quiet and many restaurants nearby. Nice and well outfitted room. Downsides were room features that were not functioning and were not fixed, along with concierge staff who were not able to make citywide recommendations.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Madrid but on a quiet corner, within walking distance to anywhere. Amazing service and nicely appointed rooms. My favourite Madrid hotel.
