We made a reservation for 4 nights. We notified by mail that it would take time to arrive, due to the time of the flight and the time to get from the airport to the center (which, unfortunately for us, had our train line interrupted just that day and they diverted us). Upon arrival, the girl half scolds us for the time we arrived and tells us that they almost left us on the street, that she was already picking up to leave (there is no 24 hour assistance and the phone they have written down goes off/out of coverage ). But at no time did I receive any email or call from him. They claimed that only Destinia's phone number appeared (website where we made the reservation), but they did have my email. The hostel is very close to the Capitol cinema on Gran Vía, due to its location, it's really great. From there you can walk to the center or move by metro, you have the stops of Santo Domingo, Callao and Gran Vía nearby. It is located on the second floor of a 4-storey building. The entrance gate costs a lot to open when you arrive loaded with a suitcase, jacket, bag and so on. There is a small flight of stairs to access the elevator (to take into account people with reduced mobility), a tiny elevator in which a person of large constitution would be overwhelmed. As you exit the elevator on the second floor is the door on the left. Once inside it is a corridor with several doors (each of the rooms of the hostel), decorated with vinyl. The room has a small plinth, which if you're clueless you won't even see it. It is a standard size room, with a tiny bathroom of 1 square meter with sliding door, no closet, just a shelf + clothes rack type bar with 4 hangers. With a very striking vinyl, in our opinion a little ornate. With a balcony-type window that overlooks the street, with a blind. It has heating that makes the stay in the room very pleasant. A small TV hanging on the wall, to take advantage of the space. The mattress and pillows, very comfortable, the truth is that you slept well, except for the noise from the street and from the rooms next door. The bathroom is mini, you have to juggle to put a toiletry bag and even to take a shower (although it is not a shower, but a mini-bathtub), with little light inside. There is no hair dryer in the room, but it is true that upon request, the girl lent us one and told us to leave it in the room during our stay. They clean the room every 2 days, but the day they cleaned our room they only made the bed, because they didn't change sheets, towels or even sweep, or replace toilet paper. Inside the door of the room, a sign informs that €20 will be charged for each missing or damaged towel due to makeup, grease or dye. €20?? I am a careful person with my own things and even more so with other people's, but reading that sounds threatening and abusive to say the least. Our experience with

Fuimos de trabajo y ocio con otra pareja, fiándonos de lo que ofrecían en su página. Pagamos 4 noches y solo pudimos estar una noche, habitación muy ruidosa, la persiana no bajaba del todo, en el baño no podíamos ni sentarnos rectos (mido 1,59, que no soy alta) Había un teléfono de urgencia al que escribimos y aún no han contestado a la reclamación que pusimos para intentar llegar a un acuerdo, comprobando que lo ha leído

Por lo que leo por aquí fuimos privilegiados con la habitación que nos dieron en la cuarta plata. Estaba separada de todo, tenia un gran recibidor, la habitación bastante amplia, armario grande empotrado y nevera. La cama cómoda la verdad. El baño no era demasiado grande pero tenía un tamaño adecuado y nuestra puerta no era corredera. Y por cierto no oíamos nada de ruidos. Respecto a la atención LAMENTABLE, el día de la llegada escribiéndonos desde una hora antes cada dos por tres para ver a que hora llegábamos (cuando yo ya se lo había indicado), avisamos de que el mando de la tele no funcionaba y la chica me manda un video de como usarla usando los botones de la propia tele… (tarde porque ya nos habíamos buscado la vida) NO te dan ni papel del WC de repuesto. Y si a la chica la escribes te lee y solo te contesta para lo que la interesa a ella. NO TE GUARDAN LAS MALETAS!! La ubicación del hotel es genial y por lo que leo nosotros con la habitación hemos tenido mucha mucha suerte. Pero por todo lo demás y leyendo experiencias negativas de otras personas NO RECOMIENDO este lugar ya que posiblemente si nos hubiese tocado alguna de las habitaciones de la segunda planta (las que están todas juntas) nos habría aguado bastante el fin de semana. En mi opinión deberían cambiar la manera de gestionar la atención al cliente

El alojamiento es sencillo, pero es muy céntrico escasos metros de Gran via.La cama es cómoda y las almohadas tambien.Cumple todos los requisitos que yo esperaba, cuarto de aseo en la habitación y sobre todo céntrico.

Esta muy cerca de todo para caminar es un gustazo cerquita Muy tranquilo en el ático no se oye nada

Había una gotera el en váter, pero cerré la tapa y la puerta del baño y ya no se oía. No dije nada estando allí porque no me gusta molestar y el ruido no me molestaba tampoco. Por lo demás genial, me encantó, justo al lado de la Gran Vía. Muy barato para la ubicación y el sitio.

Hostal en zona céntrica de Madrid, al lado de Gran Vía y Callao. Bien calidad/precio.
