High end hotel with a high end staff. Everything about this hotel, including location, quality and staff are excellent and I would recommend this hotel for a chocie to stay in while in downtown Madrid.

Staff was excellent, loved the old world charm, only negative was our room needed brighter light (maybe brighter bulbs) even with all the nice mood lighting in the room. Great upscale location not in the heart of tourist area but close enough.

A very nice old hotel with a lot of charm, but missing some of the modern conveniences. (stand alone shower, USB ports, etc.) Perfect location for shopping and dining in one of Madrid nicest neighborhood. Generous size and elegant room, but with a small bathroom.

Been staying at this hotel for years. Breakfast lounge is now permanently closed. The service drastically changed.
