Overall experience: The hotel staff at the front desk were all able to communicate in English, were very friendly, and patiently helped resolve any issues. Check-in is officially at 2 PM, but when I arrived around 10 AM, there happened to be an available room, so the front desk immediately processed my check-in without any extra charge.
Pros:
1️⃣ Great location, about a 3-minute walk from the Sol metro station. It's convenient to walk or take public transport to several famous attractions. Directly opposite the hotel's back door is a small supermarket where you can buy snacks and the like.
2️⃣ Felt very safe. The police station is less than five meters from the hotel's back door, and you can see many police officers in the square during the day.
3️⃣ Every morning, breakfast is hung on the door, which includes a bottle of water and bread. Downstairs, there's 24-hour coffee, fruit, etc. (I didn't try it).
Cons:
1️⃣ Windows couldn't be opened for ventilation, so the room felt quite stuffy.
2️⃣ The mini-fridge in the room occasionally made strange noises, which might startle those who are easily scared.
3️⃣ I booked a single room, and there was no view outside the window. I'm not sure if other rooms are better.
Note: Google Maps directs you to the hotel's back entrance; you'll need to walk around to reach the front entrance.
