Beautiful hotel, great food, good location Excellent service. The room are very clean with one of the most comfortable bad. The TV has a casting option which is a great benefit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They prepare a breakfast picnic box upon request.

Hotel chains usually have a standard, a process, something to be known for. Or it is the price, the location, the luxurious breakfast, the incredible gyms, you name it. NH is simply what it is in Spain: it is EVERYWHERE, it is AVAILABLE, it is ECONOMICAL, it is CLEAN, it is DIGITAL, it is FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL, it is EVERYWHERE the same. Hence I was guest at NH Zurbano, found myself a digital check in, a clean room, a modern hotel, a great breakfast at a reasonable price and guess what.........next time, NH it will be...

I have just come home from staying here for three days, my initial views were good for this hotel, I am afraid looking back I was wrong. The service I received was fine, but to be charged £340 for three nights which converts to £288, £95 a night I feel is outrageous and most definitely would not stay here again. I feel very annoyed with myself for agreeing to stay here for three nights. I have not been out of the UK for two years and eight months so this was very important to me. I had not booked in advance, just went to Alicante and thought I could find a hotel, it was very hot, I was feeling tired, I do not think I was thinking straight.😰but I do blame myself entirely. She said it was a special offer so I would have breakfast free, but I can assure you the breakfast was extremely mediocre, I did not choose to have breakfast on the last day, so getting it free and paying £95 a night is irrelevant. They did not have fresh milk, it was long life milk, The bread was stale, the sausages in the hot section look liked they came out of a can and cold, the scrambled egg was cold, the bacon in the hot plate was 99% fat and cold, all the juices they were serving were out of a packet and were very distasteful. I would rate this breakfast as a two-star hotel and indeed I would say probably one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a hotel in my lifetime. I have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels so I do have some experience, I would probably say this hotel is worth £60 pounds a night maximum, then one could accept what I received as acceptable, to charge £95 a night again I am going to say is very disappointing and outrageous. I also strongly recommend to anyone going to Alicante do not stay at this hotel for £95 a night, it is only worth about £60. Another point I would like to make the building noise outside over the three days was shocking, even with all the doors closed, the noise from the building noise and the bars across the road was horrendous and I paid £95 a night for this. Another very important point not out of the UK for two years and eight months, I am. 70 years old, have underlining health conditions and the staff working in the hotel could not even be courteous enough to put a face mask on or advise anyone to wear a face mask, I was the only one in the hotel with a face mask on, this is disgraceful and something they should not be proud of. I suppose if you are young and you do not have any health conditions you can just have this type of attitude. I felt exposed, frightened, and worried about catching Covid in this hotel. I have to say shame on you for putting me through this. I paid you £95 a night to make me feel like this. Spain went through a very difficult time during Covid, I also know it is not compulsory now to wear a mask, but you should be more professional and you should think about your vulnerable customers. Please Avoid this place. It is cheap but nothing else! I stayed here checked into the receiption which is 24 hours after my working day. The place is near the metro cuatro caminos (a mainly poorer area of Madrid with lots of south american population). The area does have a 24 hour supermarket which was good as the hostal has no food/drink facilities. The room was a very small single bed as I was alone on an education course for my job. The room had a fan and tv and a small table. Once you switch off the light the fan goes off so you cannot sleep with the fan on at night with 39c heat. you cannot leave the window open as its not a safe place. The first moment I checked in, i quickly went outside to get air and get the metro outside. They checked in a drunk african man at 6pm in the evening who was walking up the stairs with a can of beer unable to walk or see anything (their is no lift to the rooms) you need to walk up around 50 stairs to the rooms. They take anyone from the streets if they pay the small charge to stay here. Second day, the two receiptionists or owners were fighting over money from the hotel they were shouting and getting agressive. Its was an uncomfortable situation to see. I left and came back after work for a shower and the room had not been cleaned. They said you didnt put a badge on the door saying clean my room. Couldnt they knock and say something? Very strange way of working? The next day I put the badge clean my room but NO nothing changed. It was an excuse.. Then I went and complained he didnt speak any English and didnt want to know he said the cleaners left and nothing he can do. I pulled off the bedsheets, but the bed protector was badly stained with blood and I also got a skin rash. I left the property 1 day early, it was disgusting. The toilets were not cleaned either and insects were crawling everywhere. This place should be closed down immediately. They dont take security or cleaning seriously, they dont want to know problems only take your money. I explained to Expedia about this place but the hotel denied everything. SHAME!!!

It is a really nice hotel; the rooms are great and very clean, the people attending at the bar and the reception. A very nice buffet breakfast with all you want. 1 point of attention is the coffee; this was really horrible ( following several people who stayed as well at the same time) After business was done the way to the center could be walked. And from either part of Madrid city center it takes about 7 euro to get back by cabify.

The location of the hotel is very good, and there are a lot of open-air restaurants and shopping places. But the hotel has a certain room type that can accommodate three people. Whether the couple carries a child or the parents carries two children, the front desk strictly implements the rules for two people. You need to add money to another room type with a sofa bed to accommodate three people. This information hotel did not provide at all when booking with Ctrip.

I just came back from a 2 night trip to Madrid with friends for my hen do. The hotel was only 15 minutes from the airport, near a metro station, and in a nice area. The rooms were modern and clean, great showers, and the rooftop bar and pool were excellent, especially when it's 37 degrees! My only niggle was that the VIP loungers were too expensive, so unused by anyone while we were there. If the hotel allowed you to pay a nominal fee, as long as you spent X amount on drinks, that would seem fairer. Will be back I hope!

I have stayed in this hotel 4 nights with a great experience and this was my first time in Spain. Had a pleasant welcome with the reception and was very easy and welcome check in with a great smile from staff at front desk. Rooms are very nice with average size but you will be happy with the space Breakfast was good and food was extremely tasty with very good service from staff as well Very nice and easy check out with a smile of good bye

Very good, modern hotel, in a fantastic location in the city. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the local Metro station and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza de España and the beginning of Grand Via. To reach the very Centre of the city (Sol) it's only 20 minutes by foot or you can use the Metro with only one change. We paid direct to the reception for breakfast on one of our 3 mornings and it was well worth the money. A good range of tasty food and drink on offer. The bed was very comfy. The WiFi worked very well. Air con was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.

We were in superior room and it is quite big with big flat TV. The bed is also big and comfy. The location is excellent to get out of Madrid by car or take a taxi or public transport to go anywhere in the city. The parking is connected with the hotel, very convenient to bring the luggage to the room by lift and it is big enough for huge cars like ours. The price of parking is reasonable considering the general prices of parking in Madrid. The breakfast is not buffet, they give you a couple of choices that for us was enough. If you want some extra things you have to pay for it. The price for regular breakfast is half of the usual buffet. We think that people usually waste a lot of food when it is buffet, so we agree with this style. The coffee machine for the breakfast is Nespresso and so the coffee is great. The staff is kind, polite and fast when we request anything. It is a pity that their restaurant is not open yet for lunch or dinner, just for the breakfast.
