This hotel has so many discerning things to offer the tired traveller, brilliant surroundings, warm atmosphere, warm spacious and comfortable rooms and above all great food and great customer service, in particular from Karen who goes that extra mile to accommodate you. Very highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Walsh’s hotel for those special occasions. They hosted an afternoon tea for my Aunts 70th Birthday!The food was fabulous and the staff were excellent. Special thanks to Gerard,Emily and Ciara for helping to make the occasion so special. Thanks to Ash for helping organise the day. We had such a great day and the room was so spacious that the kids had lots of fun running around.

I would just like to commend Gerard and his great attentive staff for another wonderful buffet lunch. I have been using the hotel for the past 10 years when running coach tours for our community. The hotel never fails to deliver when we visit and today was no exception. The food was lovely as always and 50 persons were served in less than 20 minutes. We look forward to our visit again later this year.

We celebrated my nieces 30th birthday in Walsh's apartments on 3rd February. The accommodation was absolutely brilliant. Plenty of space and everything you'd need. The hotel reserved the best seats for us in the bar for the evening entertainment, which was great. The staff couldn't do enough for us over the weekend. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My room was cold, as the heating which is switched on from reception hadn't been turned on. After a few hours it still hadn't heated up so I asked to change rooms which they were happy to arrange for me.
Food options wasn't the best, had a burger and chips which was dry. In the end I left this.
The lady on reception was really nice and friendly.

Stayed here for a wedding which was nearby. Can't praise the place enough. Ash and Kris were both so attentive and helpful. Some little extras such as bringing colouring paper and crayons to our boys at mealtimes, giving them sweet on paying the bill, as well as having the family room set up with cot, sheets and toddler sides for the bed. The breakfasts and dinner were top notch! Honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy our stay so much. Would HIGHLY recommend (especially if you want really good service). Thanks from the Mullans

Very disappointing meal Only Luke warm when it was served The sauce as described on menu was not served with the dish so while I waited on sauce I asked to keep my meal warm but it wasn’t when I got it back either The vegetables were over cooked and looked reheated over and over

A wee gem that caught us by surprise. Rooms are basic however super clean and have everything that you need (maybe bar a fridge :) ) Surroundings are very oldie worldy, which gives it a nice ambience. Breakfast is good quality. The staff are absolutely amazing!

We had our wedding at Walshs in June 2023. We had the most amazing day! The staff, in particular Kimberly, Karen and Odhran were top class. Kimberly put my mind at ease during all things planning and I couldn’t have been happier with how the day panned out. We were made to feel at ease all day. Guests were well entertained in the coziness of Jacks Bar snug area and staff were friendly and kept everyone catered. The bar and catering staff were kind, friendly and went above and beyond to meet culinary needs. The food was to die for and we had so many compliments. The owner, Kieran, was such a pleasant man. He offered us another nights stay following our wedding day and it was just what we needed after the buzz. The rooms were spectacular and our guests throughly enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. The venue itself was bright, welcoming and elegantly laid out- exactly what we had in mind. We are so glad we had our wedding there and would 100% recommend for future couples.
