Le Terre di Isa

Alessandra and Claudio run the sweetest little hotel in Europe. My wife and I have stayed here for a week, three times and we have a reservation for another visit. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is superb, the pool is an oasis in summer and there is nothing more relaxing than to be away from the madding crowds of the big cities. If I stop to think about my visits to this place, I begin to weep tears of joy. I have never been happier to be somewhere. Corny, but true.

We had a lovely time at Terre di Isa. The team, Marida and Alessandra were terrific and nothing was too much trouble. They helped book restaurants and made recommendations and gave advice. Breakfast, simple but abundant, was served with very good coffee. Simple suppers, bread, salad, meat and cheese is well priced, abundant and excellent quality. The rooms are comfortable and largely air conditioned. They could benefit from communal internal lounge and sitting rooms for the day in case you want to stay on-site during the mid day heat. Excellent swimming pool and terrace Do walk up the hill to the restaurant with excellent views over the lake.

I can't say enough good things about 'di Isa'. If you need a place to stay near Perugia then you will be very happy here. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is superb. And the extras like a swimming pool and meals make it a dreamy place to spend time. Corny? Sure. True? Yes. Book now. And if you have a car and are adventurous then let Alessandra make reservations for you at local restaurants. She did this for us and they were all amazingly good and located in sweet little towns in the Umbrian countryside. Devine

What a fabulous location for our cycling holiday around lake trasimeno. The location was excellent , the staff so friendly and helpful with wonderful food. The swimming pool alongside the gym area made an excellent place for work or play Ideal place for touring around Umbria with excellent local restaurants.

Just had a week at this lovely farmhouse, everyone here went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be, nothing was too much trouble, a very relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend if your in the area and need somewhere to stay. Also a good base for cyclists and sightseeing.
