Cozy and cheap, clean and practical

The view is nice, but why is there no dinner? Also, it is not convenient to buy water. There is no complimentary water in the room.

The villa is located in a picturesque place, right on the ocean shore. You can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Our few days of rest were unforgettable. Of the minuses, one can only name the meager continental breakfasts, but the location makes up for everything.

Номера немного уставшие, душ плохо работает (еле льет). Но самый большой плюс - это шикарный пляж. Отличный вход без камней, чистый песочек, даже скатов видели. Также рядом с отелем начало тропы до потрясающего место - природного бассейна в скале! В общем, рекомендую вам данный отель для посещения!

Stayed at Chez Batista Villas purely for its location on Anse Takamaka, which is genuinely one of the best beaches on the island. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell short. We booked a standard room and it was frankly poor—dark, zero soundproofing (you can hear full conversations next door), and no privacy with a shared patio lined up with other rooms. Ours was right by the car park, facing a very underwhelming “garden.” We asked to upgrade after the first night. Despite clear availability, there was no goodwill gesture—just a fairly steep price difference to move. We paid it anyway just to get out of the original room. The upgraded room did have an amazing view, but that’s where the positives end. Shortly after moving, there were power and water outages (reportedly island-wide), but our room took much longer to recover and didn’t even have emergency lighting. No apology or compensation was offered. The newer building itself feels completely out of place—overbuilt and poorly designed for such a beautiful beach. The older looking more traditional structure on the property looks far better. Food is overpriced and underwhelming—the pizza was honestly one of the worst I’ve had.

Me and my wife stayed in Chez Batistas already six (!) times and want to come back one day again. The reason is the location, the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. What people criticized in previous reviews is true. The internet is far from good and the rooms definitely require some renovation. There are many imperfections there but the place is simply magic. Make sure you stay there on Sunday when the restaurant organizes great buffet lunch with lots of delicious food and live music. Many local families come and have great time. Do not miss it.

Absolutely amazing Location & very kind perfect service with very good breakfast. Really nothing bad to mention, everything was excellent at our whole stay of 2 weeks at Chez Batista Villas! A great place to be to relax while enjoying local cuisine from lovely locals at a cosy restaurant directly at the beautiful beach! Thank you very much for all! You made our vacation more enjoyable! Beautiful beach of Takamaka .. Things to note include it is quite isolated, there is no supermarket close by even to buy water! And bring snacks! Or rent a car for sure it’s the best bet Staff are fine, they live on site however the operational hours are all very strange. Dinner last orders are at 7pm and there are no other restaurants close by. On Sundays the last order is 530pm!! Crazy Overall, south of the island is the place to be, and less crowded so if you want to chill out and relax, come here. Else beau vallon is more touristy with more things to do!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Chez Batista for the start of his 60th 3 week birthday trip. This lovely place is nestled away on the most beautiful beach with granite boulders encasing it. Just what you imagine the Seychelles to be like. Breath taking. We stayed in the new building in a clean comfortable room with great air con. It was great. Our check in and greeting was warm and professional. The breakfast offering was good ( included ) and we ate dinner at the restaurant also. The food was amazing with substantial portions.... good value for money. The beach is wonderful but the waves could be strong but that did not stop us from enjoying it. You can really relax here. There are stones and rocks on the seafloor so swim shoes are a must. The staff are amazing we really enjoyed our 4 night stay. Very very good for the price point.

We stayed at Chez Batista’s villas for 4 nights and this was our second accommodation during our vacation. After staying at 4star hotel at Beau Vallon, I must say, we much preferred this little hidden gem. The room was very spacious with all amenities required. Very good water pressure. Breakfast was good as well. Loved the pancakes:) service always great from housekeeping, who did an amazing job to restaurant and reception staff. The only 2 things might need a bit of improving are WiFi doesn’t really work in rooms, only on the balcony, so maybe better router can be installed and aircon took a bit longer to cool the room. It did work, but could have been a bit better. The location is amazing, so peaceful, the view from the balcony is beautiful. Spent a lot of time just watching waves and taking it in. It is a wonderful place and I would definitely recommend visiting Chez Batista villas.

A wonderful stay, the sea view from our junior suite was wonderful. The beach is a matter of steps away and is great for snorkelling and swimming. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of freshly made fruit salad, cereal, toast, cheese, your choice of eggs and bacon complimented by fresh fruit juice, the most wonderful vanilla tea and of course coffee! this served as you look out over Takamaka beach. The Sunday Creole buffet, recommended wholeheartedly, providing a fine selection of traditional Creole dishes for a comparatively reasonable price. Location wise I preferred the southern end of the island where this accommodation was, great access to either side of the island, helpful as depending when you visit one side of the island will have calmer waters. We are already looking forward to returning next year, thank you for a brilliant holiday.

We only went to the restaurant for the sunday buffet and it was a bit of a disappointment. Firstly it seemed it was overbooked. 1. A big restaurant with only 1 serving station. There should at least be 2 serving stations for the number of guests. 2. Long way to the buffet 3. Long queue of people waiting to serve themselves (because of 1 station) 4. Guests should be served for hygiene reason. Too many people touching the serving equipment. 5. There could have been a better layout of the buffet with a salad bar on one side and hot dishes on another side. If you have done the salad station you have to still queue again behind those in the salad queue before reaching the hot station. 6. The dishes were of a take away standard. Expected better for a restaurant. 7. Lack of knowledge of the wine list. 8. Dessert was a BIG disappointment - sponge cake. Except for nougat nothing creole Finally to add to our disappointment our table was given away to other guests whilst we were at the buffet without being asked. We did not feel we were at a restaurant. No restsurant atmosphere. There are Better options for creole buffet even if you have yo pay abit more!

This is very beautiful and quiet hotel, and the staff are amazing, we were treated like kings and Queens at this hotel. The host was well trained, and she helped us with everything we needed. Their breakfast buffet is the best and every Sunday they provide and creole buffet that has every local food you can think of they have a bartender there that is one of the best we've seen in the world this guy takes pride in his job and he loves it, and he is very detailed and tidy. The beach is amazing and beautiful, and we also wanted to add that 20 years ago we did our wedding reception at Bautista and nothing has changed since then the hotel is still beautiful and the new staff are amazing, we have to many names to mention. We just want to say thank you to all of you and thank you, thank you. We give this hotel a 5star all the way,

Having read the reviews here, we were unsure what to expect , but on arrival we were greeted warmly and over the moon to find that our room and the hotel itself was wonderfully, charming and in a beautiful location on a stunning beach! The friendly staff were very helpful, and the facilities whilst not five star, are certainly comfortable. We extended our stay and were very happy here at Chez Batista.
