Breakfast: Prae Corona: For breakfast, there were hard-boiled eggs and scrambled eggs as well as fried eggs. And orange juice. Mid-Corona (approx. April, May 2022): Fried eggs were canceled. October 2022: Orange juice was canceled (instead there is lukewarm, still cold and sparkling cold water from a vending machine ???), scrambled eggs (3x in a row) absolutely too salty. Dinner: Prae Corona: often buffet, sometimes a la carte, but then really good. Desserts top. Mid-Corona: only a la carte, but then very good. Desserts top. October 2022: Buffet: terrible, thinned out. Desserts:? Yogurt, are you serious? Room: I was sometimes on the 4th floor. Once an outside door was replaced, the workers temporarily sealed it with foil. So it was cold in the hallway (it was around this time - October -). But the room was well heated, no problem. This time: 4th floor, outside door OK. It felt like 15 degrees in the hallway. The same in the room. So I turned on both heating valves (room + bathroom) and went downstairs for "dinner". At 10:15 p.m. a waiter came and said: "Last order, we close at 10:30 p.m." OK, no problem today, but tomorrow I'm here with my course participants (no seminar in the hotel), so it could be embarrassing. So I have to reorganize the evening. Whatever. -- Side fact: Frankfurt's Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers was definitely broadcast in every bar in Frankfurt and the surrounding area - except here, in a hotel that has the Sky Europe logo on the banner. So I went back to the room, which was of course now nice and warm. I left the heating on. The next day it was too warm for me too. So I turned it back a bit - as they say here. On the second day it was pleasant in the room (OK, a quick airing). If you had simply made sure that the room had a pleasant atmosphere from the start, you would have saved on energy costs. All in all, I have to say: Sorry, but you won't be seeing me again any time soon.

My siblings and I usually spend New Year's Eve in Germany. Reason: A great neighboring country, great hospitality, cool cities. The neighboring country is still great, Frankfurt is cool and the Michel Hotel in Maintal is the exception that proves the rule. You have to pay immediately after checking in - in the stress of traveling by train, I didn't notice that I had also been charged for the parking space. There was nothing wrong with our rooms - solid 3-star level. New Year's Eve was a horror, nothing could beat the lack of love. Mediocre buffet, cheap sparkling wine and wine and hardly any service staff. Dinner on New Year's Day in the canteen-like dining room was OK. You couldn't order an espresso or grappa after dinner. The machine was broken, the grappa had run out. They didn't want to serve my sister tea because the coffee machine, which also makes hot water, was broken... Only the reminder that you can also prepare hot water in a pan helped. Finally, at 9:30 p.m., we were told that we had to order the last round because the bar would be closing later. Hello? Where do they live? The Michel Hotel is good for business people who just need an overnight stay with a mediocre breakfast and have the costs covered by the company; everyone else should give this aging establishment a wide berth.

Schöne große Zimmer Bett leicht bisschen zu Weichkissen okay. Leider wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Zimmer schön geräumig Bad sauber. Frühstück zu teuer im Ganzen empfehlenswert.

Der Eingang zum Hotel ist sehr einladend. Die Zimmer sind gut, auch groß genug. Es gibt keine Minibar. Was schön ist, ist die Klimaanlage. Natürlich war sie jetzt im Winter abgeschaltet. Die Betten sind sehr gut, man schläft gut. Das Frühstück.......im Aufzug steht diesbezüglich " alles, was sie brauchen". Das bezieht sich eher auf das Hotel, als auf die Wünsche des Gastes. Das Frühstück ist definitiv ausbaufähig. Für 19 Euro pro Person kann man einiges mehr erwarten. Wurst und Käse entsprechen unterem Standard. Die Auswahl ist vorhanden, allerdings ohne Besonderheiten.
