Hotel Panorama

Room has nice minimalistic design. Spacious and clean. The balcony looks out at the duomo of Amalfi and main square of the town. Very lively and good stay~

I am throughly disappointed with our experience here at hotel panorama. We first arrived hot and bothered wanting to take a dip in their roof pool. We were then told that it is under renovation as is the restaurant, that we were also planning to visit during our stay. They did not specify in their website nor on *********** about any renovations so we were disappointed as you can imagine. They had a back up pool they directed us to, which was rundown and unpleasant. It was surrounded by dirty tower blocks and was not the luxury we were promised. Housekeeping were late almost everyday to turn over our room, sometimes 5pm in the evening just as we were coming back from the beach! The room was dirty and the beds weren’t even changed as when we got into it one night, there was sand at the end of the bed. Several nights we were kept up because of how thin the walls were and we were woken up by the aircon in our room over spilling water onto a suitcase and our plugs. VERY dangerous. The light in our room also exposed its wires without outer casing. Aside from also being dangerous, its unpleasant and doesn’t look professional. We expressed our upset kindly to the receptionist and there was absolutely nothing done which was very disappointing as we really tried to explain nicely. Overall rubbish experience and not a nice place to stay on your summer holiday!

Would never stay here again. The rooftop pool was closed and they sent us to a dodgy old hotel block and pool 2 blocks away which I could not comprehend as we paid for a rooftop pool and were never told prior to visiting that it was closed in peak season!! they refused to give us glasses so we could enjoy wine in own room because we might throw them out the window (like 5 year old children). The room was hot when we arrived as they didn't turn the air conditioning on. Our bags were not left in a secure location as we checkin early, simply put in a hallway behind reception where anyone could access them. The staff we not friendly and they did not seem to understand why we would be upset. this hotel needs to learn basic service and hospitality

Room was very outdated and beds were REALLY uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay, and rooftop area was really nice, although the staff does not permit you to sit out there unless the bar or restaurant is open. This was especially disappointing because our room was so terrible so we didn’t have anywhere to go and hang out in the hotel. The location is good and staff were nice, but the hotel overall is quite dated. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed in 2018 and in October 2023 in this hotel. Compared to 2018, the service decreased significantly, no restaurant, no pool at the hotel, no happy hour, breakfast limited. Hotel price increased. The beds and umbrella served at the best very costly. Advice check other places nearby which offer same for half of the cost. This is not a 4-star hotel and I will not come back.
