Gateway Maizuru

I stayed here on the day the Shin Nihonkai Ferry arrived. The front desk is unmanned at night, so you have to call to receive your room key. Foreigners should be aware of this. The room was clean and the amenities were adequate. Red Brick Park is about a 20-minute walk away.

"Things not in the room" There was no TV, bath, toilet, refrigerator, or pajamas. Febreze was provided, but it was broken and unusable. However, I stayed in a private room, which was very clean and comfortable, so I stayed there two years in a row.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also recommended nearby restaurants. The environment was lovely, highly recommended for family trips. The facilities were excellent, and there were even card games to play. The space was ample.

The cleanliness was impeccable! It was a shame that there was no money exchange available.

Since I was staying for three days, I chose this hotel because it was cheap. It was a bit tiring having to be considerate of my family and foreign guests, but I recommend staying one night. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Check-in was smooth, the room was clean, and it was a comfortable place to stay. The twin room had bunk beds and a very cute design that made it very comfortable. I think it would be more comfortable if there was something like a bench in the room. There are no showers or toilets in the rooms, but the showers and toilets in the shared space were clean and separated for men and women, so there was no problem using them. The shared kitchen and living space were also spacious and easy to use, with tables and sofas. The kitchen was equipped with a refrigerator, dishes, and cooking utensils, so it would be fun to stay for a few days or have a good time with friends or family. Drinking water was also provided. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large paid parking lot right in front of the accommodation, which was very cheap and convenient at 500 yen for 24 hours. For a hostel or guesthouse, the facilities are new and the rooms are spacious, so I recommend it!

It's very clean. All the residents are Japanese. There are no other foreigners except us two.
