Best Apartments in Makati

Best hotel experience for my family so far, it offers a variety of activities other than staycation - swimming, playground, sports facilities including a full basketball court, gaming room and best breakfast buffet. The service is incomparable, thank you Alpha Suites for helping us create new memories for our family. Till our next visit!

The kitchen contains various utensils, there is a coffee maker and a toaster, and there is a sink and dryer. The hotel is old, like the kitchen and sink wood, but the furniture has been renovated, and there is a dining table for four people. The price is high, the bathroom needs cleaning, there are stains, the TV is small and there is no YouTube, smoking is not allowed in most rooms The hotel has a place on the sixth floor that is open and there are no chairs. Some workers lack experience and need more training. They annoy you by hinting at giving them money, but some of them, on the contrary, are very excellent in dealing, and in particular the respected employee Alan in the hotel restaurant treats him professionally.

I’ve been here two weeks: Pros - Heavy dumbbells and well equipped 24 hour gym - Good location next to the best shopping mall in Manila (Greenbelt) with a supermarket nearby. - Many foreigners staying at the hotel so easy to make friends - Good general smoking areas - The breakfast buffet is very affordable - The restaurant has a piano player at dinner times - There are safeguards in place (advertised on the tv) for women to report any issues that make them feel uncomfortable Cons - Limited menu with parts unavailable and unattentive waiters.. sit for ages before being served or finished food being cleared away - Swimming pool is indoors.. no sun bathing area - Slow internet on the television so is sometimes unusable - I was physically prevented from getting in lifts by staff when it arrived as it was to be exclusively used for an event on the 2nd floor, so I had to wait longer. - When my lighter stopped working I asked for one and the staff on the door didn’t even move. One checked a drawer and said “no sorry” so I had to go all the way back up to my room to get one. - Breakfast stops at 10 am (ie the hotel saves money by closing earlier than many others) - We asked for a glass of wine in the cigar room and the member of staff told us they’d have to go downstairs to get it; hoping to put us off as he couldn’t be bothered. - House cleaning knocking on the door when they’re a do not disturb sign - House cleaning not replacing the laundry bags and tick box list in my room once I’d put my laundry in - Fridge isn’t large enough - ie to live in the room permanent (despite the room having cooking facilities etc) - No dip frame to do lower back in the gym Thankfully I’m lucky enough to not care about value. If you are I’d recommend Aruga Apartments instead.

Citadines Makati is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Asia, and my favorite among all Citadines hotels. I have stayed at this hotel for more than ten times during the last year and many other Citadines hotels in different countries, but my experience in Makati has been exceptional. The staff at Citadines Makati has always made me feel at home with their warm welcome and willingness to help in any way possible. I am deeply grateful for their hospitality and service, which has been consistently excellent. They have always made a big effort to accommodate my requests, especially my preference for the highest floor, which provides a great view of the city. I have come to regard this hotel as my home in Manila, and I cannot thank the team enough for making my stay so easy and comfortable. With their excellent service, I can focus on my work without any worries. In conclusion, I highly recommend Citadines Makati for anyone looking for a hotel that provides exceptional service and a welcoming environment. If you use Instagram or TikTok. This is the hotel you need to stay at. I was given complimentary access to Rockwell Leisure Club. It’s a members only club for Rockwell Condo unit owners. Very exclusive. It’s basically a millionaires club. Saw many celebrities at the club’s gym and pool. Very beautiful pool too. Access to the Rockwell Leisure Club sets this hotel apart from all others in Rockwell Makati.

Firstly, the good. Good location in colourful Poblacion (close to the heart of Makati but keep alert) and reasonably priced. Good friendly staff who go out of their way, Nino, Marlon and Leo (Nino in particular gave me great help when ING Australia had suspended use of my ATM card given its overseas use even though I advised that I would be overseas! lol). Good security (steel security door) and good value. The bad....upper floors can only be accessed by stairs which resemble the steep climb to the death face of K2 (to say it is somewhat steep is an understatement). Nimble young folks and families could do it but it was a great strain for older folks like me despite the fact that the friendly staff were happy to carry my bags upstairs. Secondly, the internet there must be run by evil spirits - you would get connected and the internet would fade and disconnect, or refuse to connect repeatedly. There are many other alternative internet options (different routers for different floors) however you would get the same bad internet experience over and over again. Whilst there is no great internet even in Manila, at the end of the day the internet here was a very frustrating experience and a great difficulty if you absolutely required it (which is most of us). The rooms were so so and came with air conditioning and were about right for a budget stay.

The condo hotel has a great location near shopping & business district. The condotel itself is old and tired looking. The room was basic, clean, functional but the towels were old & worn. Thankfully the AC & fridge worked well. As in all hotels I’ve been too in the Philippines, the staff was courteous, friendly & helpful. There’s visible security staff always present at the small lobby which I thought was unusual for a no frills condotel. Overall, I would recommend Princess Plaza as a good value if you’re looking for a no-frills, functional room close to the shopping centers.

Big thanks to the team at The Sphere for making my stay super comfortable and flawless. I stayed for 5 nights together with my colleagues for a conference in the same venue. Front desk was very responsive and helpful with the ton of questions that I had. I also booked a massage at the hotel and it was awesome! Special thanks to Karylle, one of their account managers, and Edmar, from the maintenance staff who helped us during our conference. They are super helpful and responsive to our requests.

Stayed here multiple times and would love to go back again. You get your money's worth with the service and the size of the room. Each room has a bath tub, if you're into that :) Also love their swimming pool and billiards area, and the privacy the area offers. It's also near Greenbelt (mall) and public parks. Would recommend just improving the breakfast menu (or rather the quality) so guests will get their money's worth more ;) Would also recommend looking into having a heater for the swimming pool so it's not too cold sometimes.

The room is clean and tidy, with wireless and refrigerator
