"Thanks for the upgrade. It’s great location. Can walk to bars, clubs and restaurants in Poblacion. One thing I was shocked is the price of laundry, 350 pesos per kilo?!!! I think that’s too much but maybe the guests are foreigners so they don’t mind."

City Garden Grand Hotel ★★★★
"I had a really pleasant stay with my friend! This was my second time staying here, and once again, the hotel didn’t disappoint. The front desk staff and housekeeping were amazing as always. They were all so warm, welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces. I originally booked a Standard Twin room with no view, but they kindly gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Superior Twin with a partial city view. They also upgraded my room during my first stay, which made me feel like a valued guest and is something I truly appreciate. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed relaxing in the in-room hot tub. The only downside was our experience with one of the pool attendants. We went for a sunset swim around 5:30 p.m., and unfortunately, he seemed irritated when answering our questions. His attitude made us feel like we were being policed rather than welcomed as guests. It was disappointing, especially since every other staff member we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. I hope the hotel can provide additional customer service training to ensure all staff deliver the same level of hospitality. Overall, I had another wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable!"

Makati Hotels: Where to Stay in Manila's Financial & Lifestyle Hub

Makati Hotels: Where to Stay in Manila's Financial & Lifestyle Hub

About Makati

Makati, the financial heart of Metro Manila and home to the Philippine Stock Exchange, is a bustling mix of business, culture, and leisure. Its centerpiece, Greenbelt, combines luxury boutiques, fine dining, entertainment, and the serene Greenbelt Chapel in one walkable district. Ayala Museum showcases Philippine history through 60 handcrafted dioramas and iconic works by Juan Luna, Fernando Amorsolo, and Fernando Zobel, while Ayala Triangle Gardens offers a leafy urban park open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, surrounded by popular restaurants. At night, P. Burgos Street comes alive as a hotspot for nightlife and entertainment.

Where to Stay in Makati

Makati Central Business District

The CBD is where Makati does business by day and unwinds by night. Hotels here put you within walking distance of Ayala Center, Greenbelt, and the Legazpi Village dining scene. The trade-off is that weekend rates drop noticeably once the corporate crowd checks out.
