On paper and photos this hotel is a fairytale, nice pool, rooftop and good amenities!
However, when coming there, the place feels kinda dead because first the pool and rooftop area is “closed” at around 7PM and there’s no music, lights, cushions on the sofas like on the pictures.
Moreover, the rooms do feel a bit updated regarding maintenance and housekeeping. First, the paper on the walls are pealing, the furniture is clearly showing signs of decay.
Regarding housekeeping, the carpets are stained in multiple places, the light bulbs are broken as shown in the pictures, there is huge amount of dust on the top places.
To finish the most crazy thing is regarding all the stains in the drapes and bed, on cushions…
Also be careful when checking-in, because one of the receptionist asked for 14RM to pay, when Trip said I would only have to pay for 4RM, it was apparently the tourist tax but she didn’t even bothered to clearly explain to me as I’m a young solo traveler, she was like he’ll just pay. Moments later, after settling in my room, I went back to the reception to ask for change and the guy answered rudely and annoyed how much.
This is not acceptable behavior.
Otherwise, the bed are nice to sleep in, the pool’s fine and yeah that’s pretty much it. Worth the price but don’t be fooled by the pictures who are making this place as an incredible hotel and experience.
