A true luxury small hotel. Very cozy. Room is clean. Love the tub. The welcome tea & sugee cake served in the room were nice. As for amenities, its average, could use a better quality of disposable toothbrush & provide slippers for going to the pool. Dining hall has good ambience, breakfast was good & service was personal. Dinner was above average. The pool was clean and dont feel too much clorine. The gym was a bit packed but ok to use when not many guests. There was an unpleasant smell at the dumb bells section, think its from the floor mat at that section. The little local biscuits & sweets at the lobby was a nice touch to let guest try the olden days snacks. The couple spa was fantastic👍🏻. The masseurs were pro.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

Location: It's about 15mins walk from Jonker Street. Take Grab for about RM 5 to 7, depends on the timing. Located next to Mahkota Parade, where you can find quite a lot of shops and fast food available there too. If you're taking bus from Singapore, you can alight at this hotel. Service: The staff is friendly and helpful. Cleanliness: it's consider OK to be honest, just a little stain on the table. The lobby looks grand! Others: The TV programme has to be improved. Some of the channels are dark / mute. Room is spacious, and even have a small living room at the entrance.

The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .

They are not lying when they said unlimited breakfast buffet from 7am till 12pm. This is the most great thing about this hotel. Their view is beautiful. Like others mentioned, we can see melaka river cruise at night from the balcony. Other than that, facilities in children a bit wear out already. However we did enjoy the pool because it’s quite big. The adult pool have infinity view but slightly poor in cleanliness.

Once you arrive, park at 7th or 8th floor and inform the receptionist your car plate later. At the reception, Alif assisted me with the check in like a close friend. He even informed me how to navigate around Jonker Street. As for the room, it is clean and the shower water pressure is strong and hot. No insects found or seen around the room. The lift may take a while though during peak hour. The location is okay, about 15 minutes walk to Jonker Street. But what I like is that it is next to the jogging path by the river and accessible to speedmart/7 11.

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. This was our second stay at Treasures and it did not disappoint! The hotel is gorgeous with Balinese style fittings and decor. The infinity style pool on the roof top is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Beds, pillows and sheets are so soft and comfortable and feels like it is high-end. Breakfast is fantastic, we experienced both buffet and al a carte and both had a great variety of tasty, fresh foods. The service is what makes this hotel stand out from the rest. Every single staff member was lovely and approachable, nothing was ever too much trouble. We could not find any faults in our stay at Treasures and will definitely return when in Melaka.
