Stayed at Saii Lagoon Hotel in the Maldives recently, and it was amazing!
- Easy transport: Just a 15-minute speedboat ride from Male Airport—no tiring long trips.
- Stunning views: Crystal-clear water with fish and coral visible. The white, soft sand feels like walking on clouds, and the sea blends perfectly with the sky.
- Great accommodation: I stayed in an overwater villa, spacious and bright with a tropical wooden design. Big floor-to-ceiling windows offer sea views right from bed. The private terrace has a ladder to the sea—so convenient for a swim!
- Delicious food: Multiple restaurants with global dishes. The main restaurant’s buffet has fresh, juicy seafood; local curry chicken is flavorful; Italian pasta is authentic and tasty.
- Fun activities: Snorkeling lets you see colorful fish and coral. Try surfing for excitement or fishing for relaxation. The spa is perfect for unwinding.
- Fantastic service: Staff were warm from check-in, helped with luggage, and answered questions quickly. They even remembered my favorite drink—felt like home!
Highly recommend Saii Lagoon if you’re visiting the Maldives. You won’t be disappointed!

GGuest UserBest stay ever in Maldives! My fourth trip to Maldives, but this stay is the best. Beautiful water villa with pool and very clean and comfortable. Joey was at the reception when I checked in and she was very patient to explain on use of app and things to note. The experience at Hardrock Cafe was fantastic, great food and music. There are 3 islands connected and you can see sunrise and sunset near the Pavilion. The staff at Pavilion (Mr Sunil Giri )was so kind to help me take some pictures with the sunset. There are many shops like canvas painting, pottery making etc to participate in. The staff at merchandise shop (Mr Aalif) beside Hard Rock Cafe has a sense of humour and made one shopping experience a great one! Kudos to all the staff and recommend everyone be it solo or families to choose the hotel, you will never regret! Lastly thanks to the hotel for giving me a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake to make the stay a memorable one!

AAnonymous UserWhen I first arrived, I booked a cheaper hotel and barely slept that night. Although I spent nearly 1,000, it felt like I was staying in a 100-dollar hotel. The service was fine, but the rooms were small and crowded together with no soundproofing. Since I couldn't return due to flight restrictions, I had to stay a day, so I decided to stay in a star-rated hotel. While the hotel isn't new, it's very clean overall. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The shuttle service was a great help. Since we had a late flight, they gave us an extended check-out, which was a huge help since we have children. They even provided plenty of water. Overall, I highly recommend it. Even after traveling, it's important to consider how to make your stay more comfortable.

AA.FaizalWe chose this hotel mainly because we had an early flight to Kuala Lumpur, and it turned out to be a great decision. The hotel also provides convenient transport to the airport, which made our departure smooth and stress-free.
The breakfast was excellent with a good variety and quality. Our room was facing the beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable — waking up to the sea view was definitely a highlight. The hotel also has its own restaurant, which was very convenient, especially after a long day.
Additionally, there are several other restaurants within walking distance, so finding food was easy. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, perfect for travelers looking for convenience, good food, and a nice view.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel during my solo trip to the Maldives, and what really stood out during my stay was the incredibly kind and attentive service from the female front desk staff. As a solo traveler, I was a bit worried about local transportation and joining tours, but she provided such wonderful support that all my concerns disappeared.
She greeted me with a smile upon arrival, and check-in was very smooth. What I especially appreciated was how she directly contacted the tour company when I consulted her about a tour I planned to join. Thanks to her thoroughly confirming the meeting time, location, and daily schedule, I was able to enjoy sightseeing without any worries.
Arranging transportation and tours in the Maldives can sometimes be a bit confusing, but having the staff step in to coordinate everything for me really helped me stick to my schedule smoothly. For solo travelers, having this kind of support makes a huge difference in peace of mind.
My room was clean and comfortable, and spending time relaxing while gazing at the ocean felt incredibly luxurious. It was a quiet environment where I could truly unwind on my own and get proper rest between sightseeing. The cleaning was also thorough, making my entire stay comfortable.
The location was also great, making it convenient for exploring the surroundings and accessing the beach. Whenever I had questions, the front desk always responded courteously, which made my stay very reassuring.
Overall, I felt this is a hotel where solo travelers can stay with complete peace of mind. The staff's hospitality, in particular, was exceptional and made my trip to the Maldives an even better memory. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Maldives alone or those who prioritize excellent support. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

MMayangSabI have to highlight that access to the rooftop pool is only for the penthouse. Taxi rate in Male is at fix 80mvr or $5usd. Hotel is accessible within 3.5km from the airport. This is a good overnight stop hotel in Male before going to Island. Surrounding tourists spots are accesaible from the hotel as well within 15-20mins taxi drive. Thankful to Devasis who assisted me on my stay, very kind and accommodating staff can compare more how wonderful he is! Thank you.

And prior to my last stay they allocated me a room which is located to another building, which was the entrance - door is accessible for all which I don't find myself safe. Also, there's a stray cats infront of the hotel and there was a time that the cat ran to me and I was so scared. Apology to say but that room smells cat. I escalated my concern on my next stay and they have given me a complimentary room upgrade to the higher floor. Thank you for your kind understanding regarding my concern and request.
Furthermore, they gave me a complimentary late check out - 30 minutes as I have an evening flight.

ルルームこきみThe room was good. Very clean and comfortable. The shower drained well. The sheets and bed were OK. The problem was that the shower water temperature was not stable and there was no hook for the shower head, so I couldn't wash my head with both hands. The hot water sometimes came out and sometimes didn't depending on the timing. It would be helpful if they provided a service such as an adapter for overseas electrical plugs. The biggest problem was the attitude of the staff! Very bad. There was no support for carrying luggage, and when I asked, they just ran away. The man at the front desk did not think that his job was to serve customers. Communication would have gone well if he had explained things slowly and calmly, but he got angry and confrontational, his language was rough, and it was extremely unpleasant. It is very important to improve for your sake. I think they should receive hospitality training.
