The hotel was clean and well looked after, check in was efficient, we had no problem with our room or housekeeping and the beds were very comfortable, but that's about as far as the positives go. We were a group of 7 middle-aged women who booked for an all inclusive Thursday to Sunday trip away. We were not loud, drunk or falling about but for some reason the staff were rude to us. There were rules that came with the All Inclusive booking, it was only between 11am and 11pm and we could only get one drink at a time, which meant we couldn't get drinks for each other, so we all had to to go to the bar separately at different times. On the first night, a member of the bar staff spent a good 5 minutes moaning at us, stood by our table, because our glasses had not be cleared so it looked like we had more than one drink at a time, which was very unnecessary. During the day we could only have soft drinks served in small cups, even though we were sitting upstairs on the sun terrace. The female staff were very helpful and friendly however the male restuarant manager/maitre de (whatever his title is) was very rude. We were not told at check in that we had to all be together to get a table at the restaurant. There were 5 out of 7 of us, we asked for a table for 7 and was told, quite rudely, that it was not possible. We all had to be together to get a table. Easily remedied, we just waited for the others and then got a table, it was just the way we were told. We were then quite rudely told that we had to have the paper part of our room key to be allowed in, again we were not told this when checking in, so had to go and get them The next day we all met and went to the restaurant for breakfast together, with our paper cards, but was rude to again because we requested a table for 7 people, again we were told rudely that it was not possible, but after a few minutes were shown to a table for 7. Each time we asked for a table of 7 it seemed a huge inconvenience even though the restaurant was never full and we had made the booking as a party of 7. The food was not great either, all the hot food was cold, whether you went at the beginning, middle or end of service. The only time you got hot food is if you went to the grill as it had just been cooked. There was a good variety of food, salads and desserts each day. The staff just seemed fed up that there were guests in the hotel, we even witnessed reception staff shush two girls for laughing in reception during the day. It just put a bit of a dampner on the weekend. Thankfully when were out and about we had a great time and encountered some really lovely staff in bars and restaurants.

Where to start!!. Let me start with Hotel Manager Martha- This lady made our stay one of the most memorable Holiday experiences my Family and I have ever had!! It was my Husband's and I twenty year wedding anniversary. Not only did Marta arrange a luxury room for us but she arranged a full day of treats for us. On one of the days, we awoke to an amazing card for my Husband and I with a beautifully wrapped package of heart marshmallows. She had reserved a table for my Family in the restaurant with roses, hearts and rose petals strewn on the table. They then proceeded to produce a huge freshly baked cake with whilst singing to us along with a complimentary bottle of brut champagne!!. It was absolutely surreal!!. Restaurant manager, Lola was a superstar and took photos with us and made sure everything was absolute perfection!!. It was really like getting married again!!!. The waitress who served us was also so kind and obliging and made sure we had everything. We were treated better than royalty!. Thank you Marta and Lola. We will never every forget the experience you gave us that night and for the entire Holiday. It was unbelievable!!. The Hotel itself was right beside the Supermarket, Beach and ***** and an amazing location for the two teenagers that we had with us. My Son and Daughter went clubbing every night and had an absolute ball. Special thanks to the Night Porter for being so kind to my Children and always smiling. He is an amazing representative of the Hotel. The Ladies who work in accommodation are also so kind, caring and happy to come back to clean the room if you are sleeping late (my Family always do this on Holiday). My favorite part of the Hotel was definitely the roof top terrace with amazing panoramic views of the beach, sea and surrounding areas and also because it was for over 18's only. I found it to be such an amazing relaxing and restful experience and I went there every day. The beach across the road cost me 21 euros for two sunbeds and one umbrella, so needless to say, I was happy to spend my time sunbathing in the Hotel for free. We will definitely be back!!. Thank you to the tropic park Hotel for one of the most memorable occasions of our lives!!! free. Everything is so close - train to Barcelona every 30 mins, shops, restaurants etc. I would more than recommend this Hotel and my Family will definetely be back for the staff alone.

rooms- very decent for a 3 star hotel, better than expected and better than reviews say. modern bathroom and aircon. stayed on the 8th floor so could not hear the disco club next to hotel. food- average for a 3 star. overcooked eggs and cold beans, pancakes and cereals fine. staff friendly and polite no issues. pool quite small and overcrowded. struggle to get sunbed unless first one down. only downside was this was a prime spot where carers bring disabled people. might sound harsh and not really an issue but we had 20+ disabled people at the hotel screaming and hitting themselves in the face. not really what you want to hear or see when you’ve come for a break in the sun. overall the reviews are harsh. not bad hotel to stay in for a cheap break away. i would probably stay in lloret de mar next time which is 30 mins 30euro taxi away. beach very close , train station 20 min walk.

Lovely hotel in a guite location, right beside train station so great base to explore and 1 hour from Barcelona, beautiful beach but not great for swimming or children as it has a very step shelf. More activities further long beach in Santa Suzanna which is 20 minute walk and more lively. Hotel itself was very clean lovely rooms (ours had sea view which is spectacular) small but practical. All inclusive was great, food was exceptional with great variety again though not for smaller children. I only have one complaint/issue, as we were all inclusive we paid 2 euro for a drinks card, refundable at checkout, this is guite common, however we were served drinks in plastic glasses which again is fine while by the pool but not on an evening while sitting in main bar, but staff would not provide proper glasses for us, also cocktails on the all inclusive menu are a measure of alcohol with a pre made mixer from a machine but a paying customer gets a somewhat proper cocktail, when we addressed this staff told us paying customers only get a proper cocktail and are permitted to use glass and we had not paid!! also we might drink more, now the age of our group range from 40's to 70's so by no means big drinkers. The moral of this story is and which staff didn't seem to care about was that we had indeed paid for our food and drink, we paid in advance by adding that option to our booking pre travel and this can be expensive so all customers regardless should get the same drinks in proper glasses on an evening. Most staff are lovely and friendly but like anywhere there were a few with no personalities. Would return to the area though, maybe even to the hotel!!

We are coming to the end of our stay here and cannot describe how dissapointed myself and others are with the service from the reception staff and the bar staff. On various occasions we have been made to feel belittled, whether this is due to our age (our party consists of three girls aged (18-20) or the language barrier…either way we should not be made to feel uncomfortable whilst paying so much money to stay here. The food is close to inedible, hairs found on food and poor selection. Taking drinks even water bought from outside of the hotel is “forbidden”, making this a very expensive stay as they overcharge significantly for their drinks here. Not only have we been made to feel uncomfortable during our stay but we also had sleepless nights caused by an individual knocking on our door at 3am claiming to be the reception, we didn’t answer the door so it is unknown whether it was a member of staff or somebody dangerous.

Just got back from a week at the reymar, very clean hotel, food was lovely something different every night alot of fish dishes but if like us you aren't a fish eater plenty of other options, desserts were to die for! Room was clean and cleaners came in regular to change towels, I will say that there was only 1 plug socket in bedroom and 1 in bathroom (not ideal) but we got by. Entertainment was Ok not really our cup of tea but we did watch a few of the acts, the older guests absolutely loved it and were up dancing good for them! Location is brilliant, beach across the road, and the ***** full of shops and bars so plenty to do, for the price we paid I cannot give any negatives for this hotel, fantastic team well done reymar!

In Santa Susana, this hotel is not the best location, a little distance from the sea, shopping center! But the hotel's service, dining, absolutely commendable

It was a good hotel, small and quite!Very good personal. The owner is speaking many languages and very careful with all his clients. Breakfast was tasty and with many options. Location is perfect, 5min to the beach, it's not in a tourist place, near some good restaurants and shops. Next time we will again stop there!
