Очень понравилось проживание в Stelios Gardens. Особенно расположение гостиницы, идеально между пляжем и городом. Мы жили в отдельном бунгало, и данное размещение имело массу преимуществ. У нас был свой двор и своя терраса с лежаками, столом и креслами. Номер хорошо обустроен, планировка удобная, все очень чисто и уютно. На территории гостиницы тоже все сделано с любовью, красиво оформлено, площади оптимально использованы. Все продумано, включая мойку для ног на входе, необходимо, когда возвращаешься с пляжа в свой номер. Хозяева заказали для нас такси из аэропорта и потом обратно в аэропорт, стоимость поездки в один конец за 55 евро. Водитель приехал на мерседесе, в который отлично поместился весь наш багаж. Один недочет в обслуживании - это неработающий сейф, который был закрыт, когда мы приехали, и до конца нашего пребывания его так и не починили. Тем не менее всем, кто хочет поселиться с комфортом в тихом месте и в то же время в шаговой доступности от всех туристических мест в Малии, однозначно рекомендую.

Absolutely loved our time at Stelios Gardens in Malia! The whole place has such a beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere. The pool area is lovely, especially in the evening when everything is lit up, and it’s the perfect place to sit back, enjoy a drink, and completely switch off. The food was delicious and consistently well prepared, with plenty of great options to choose from. We also really enjoyed the cocktails — fresh, refreshing, and perfect for the warm Crete evenings. Everything we tried was excellent. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, polite, and always happy to help. They create such a warm and positive atmosphere that you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Stelios Gardens is a fantastic place to stay, eat, drink, and relax while visiting Malia. Beautiful surroundings, great food, fresh cocktails, and an amazing team — we genuinely had a wonderful time and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

We came here with our 12year old daughter.I was apprehensive about it only being a 2 star before we arrived but was pleasantly surprised .We have room 113 which I assume is not long been renovated.Fabulous shower ,separate WC and WB and also very nice basin outside of both of these with substantial mirror for the ladies.We have had no problems with noise at all ,so I do not understand the complaints in other reviews .Some people have fun and enjoy life and then there are others who only moan about it because they don’t know how to.We are in our 50,s so we are not clubbing .We retire to our room before 12 ,sleep well and up and ready to go again at 7am.The breakfast here is fine ,fresh and different every day apart from obvious staple foods like eggs ,you have to have eggs,,lovely and fresh,not over cooked.Again I can’t see why this isn’t above 2 stars ,we have stayed in 4 star hotels with breakfast not as good as this .This is a family run hotel and not part of heartless big chain hotel,so of course there is some compromise in how it is run .There is a relaxed atmosphere you don’t get with larger hotels. There is adequate space and beds to enjoy around the pool because a lot of people go the the beach with it being so close.There is not the need to reserve beds at silly o clock with the towels as many people here don’t rise till gone 10. Yes the maids don’t make it every day but that is one of the compromises I am willing to accept . The question I always ask is would I come back to this hotel .The answer is Yes.

This hotel really suits my needs. I find it like a home from home. Loved my apartment with patio and beds outside for quiet evening/morning relax. Pool very nice with plenty of comfy beds and shade. Garden is so nice Staff very helpful and will give you everything you need.. food, drinks, chat.. the food is all home cooked and really good. Very clean. Room cleaned regularly sheets towels etc.. So close to beautiful beach with bars restaurant all 2 minutes away. Other members of my family joined me as I had a long stay of 35 days and all were happy with hotel and location. My thanks to Iannis, Nikki and Maria for a very happy and comfortable stay.

Overall, I’d give this hotel 2/5. The biggest issue was the woman on reception. From the moment we arrived, she was rude and unwelcoming. She didn’t even greet us with a simple “hello” or a smile. Instead, she repeatedly told us, “You’ve picked the wrong hotel” at least five times which came across as unnecessary and disrespectful. There were eight of us staying, and throughout the entire holiday it felt like she was watching us constantly. Every time we walked through reception, she would stare at us and never acknowledged us or made us feel welcome. We were a respectful group, kept the noise down, were polite throughout our stay, and left our rooms very clean. On the day of checkout, she was waiting outside our rooms around 10 minutes before checkout time, telling us we needed to leave. It felt completely unnecessary and made us feel rushed, despite us already being prepared to check out on time. The positives were that the shower was excellent, the pool was decent, and the location was great only about a two-minute walk from the strip. The food was average, nothing special. The beds, however, were very uncomfortable and honestly felt like sleeping on a plank of wood. I’d also like to mention the security guard, who was fantastic. Every morning when we came back around 4–5am, he was friendly, polite, and welcoming. He was a credit to the hotel and made us feel much more welcome than the reception women ever did. Unfortunately, the attitude of the receptionist really affected our experience. Customer service is a huge part of any holiday, and she needs to seriously improve the way she treats guests.

Excellent location 2 mins to beach and 3 mins to the strip , nice and relaxed atmosphere. Our room was lovely , very modern, clean , bed made daily, rooms cleaned every other day . Family run . They were lovely I had sun stroke and they sorted food for me to bring back to my room . If we needed anything i.e a doctor they would sort that out . My only issue and it's a small one ,the beds are harder than I'm use to . Other than that we have enjoyed our stay

Firstly the location is perfect, very close to the beach and shops and restaurants. Photos of the pool area online are a bit deceiving. Sun lounger were bit grubby and were left out in the rain, parasols were broken and lots of ants around pool area. Room was lovely apart from the cold shower, had to complain every other day. Staff were not very helpful at all

Just came home from a wonderful week in Crete Greece and we stayed here . The hotel was stunning and staff so friendly and would do anything to help you .they made our stay relaxing .rooms all recently refurbished stunning and food was tasty and served hot . Will defentley be back very soon .

I have been many time to this lovely family owned small hotel It’s such a lovely place to stay with lovely grounds , beautiful pool , the food is beautiful all home cooked Greek dishes? 5 mins from the beach , very clean rooms , Always have to book early & very popular

Great location near the strip and beach. Staff really helpful and modern facilities are excellent for the price you pay! Perfect for different types of trips to Malia due to location. Great pool facilities and bar area for food and drinks all day long, highly recommend for a long stay in the area.

Lovely grounds once on the place and very close to beech. Lovely staff and rooms were fine. Breakfast was lots of eggs so be prepared for that. It just got a bit more of the same but we made the most of it. We went here just to get some sun for 2 weeks but probably won't go back to Malia. But I stress the complext was fine. Lovely pool

Stayed 4 nights in the Stelios Gardens, had a couple of friends staying there too but booked my own room. Had a brilliant holiday and Malia is a nice resort. Was going to give the hotel a good 4/5 review but a couple of things let it down. Nice friendly welcome by the entertainments team and man working on reception (the owner's son apparently) who was very helpful. Had to pay for air con which was a surprise as Loveholidays didn't tell me that, and at €34 for 4 nights it's robbery! Air con didn't work first night so the man on reception came round to have a go at fixing it. Couldn't get it working so went without on the first night - very hot in the room but got €9 back. Hotel itself is very good for the price, seems like all rooms have been renovated (basic but passable), the staff are constantly cleaning the place and looking after it. The pool area is immaculate with a nice restaurant/bar area (can't comment on the food as didn't eat there). Unfortunately a couple of things let it down. Firstly, after a few drinks one evening I wanted to sit on my terrace with a friend who wasn't staying there - security said no. Now this really annoyed me as I am 35 and always respectful when I go on holiday. I have paid for my room and I expect to be able to have a quiet drink with a friend at the end of the night (never had this problem anywhere else). But what really annoyed me was when I left the hotel I went to check out and the woman just asked me "what room?" and "have you paid for everything?" No "how was your stay?/did you have a nice holiday?" - Not the sort of rudeness you expect as a paying guest. I feel that as a younger guest at the hotel some of the staff seemed annoyed that I was staying there. I will be back in Malia but next time I will spend a bit more money and stay somewhere with better customer service.

The complex is down a little side street so if your on an airport transfer they mote than likely will drop you off and the x roads with McDonalds. walk east to car hire then left to beach and the complex is on the right. nice tidy complex. nice pool. rooms more than adequate. Breakfast is a bit samey with eggs eggs and eggs and sometimes thin bacon or small sausage. we went early season so no young mad party types about. all in all not a bad stay
