Location is good as the hotel is just of 3-minute walk from the train station ; service was fair but the room ventilation or air conditioner could be better

The location is extremely convenient. I personally loved the room with a view of the intersection where trams and buses cross. I also really liked the atmosphere of the breakfast place; I was able to enjoy a leisurely morning.

The hotel is in a good location for all the places I had to visit the trams, trains and buses were all within minutes away. The room was clean and no issues with everything they provided. Breakfast was great and had a good selection of pastries and full breakfasts

The hotel is very close to Piccadilly train station, but I wouldn't recommend using the overhead bridge – it actually makes it a longer walk. My room, at least, was spacious, and the bed even bigger. What I loved most was that the hangers could be taken down, and they even provided slippers! I stayed for two nights, and it was generally very quiet, much better than my experiences in Edinburgh and London. The mini-fridge had food and water, along with tea bags and a capsule coffee machine, all of which I confirmed were complimentary. However, because they took a £52 pre-authorization upon check-in, I didn't touch anything in the fridge to be on the safe side. The restaurant is on the right side of the lobby on the ground floor and is very standard for a Western-style restaurant. Below are some personal cons: 1. Manchester isn't as warm as London, and my room was shaded. Even on sunny days, it felt a bit cool inside, and the air conditioning's heating seemed pretty ineffective. 2. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery; you absolutely need to use the non-slip mat provided by the hotel. 3. The toilet flush button was very stiff; I couldn't press it with my left hand and had to use my right. Oh, and they gave me hot scones at check-in, as shown in picture 6.

This is a very good chain hotel. We had a two-room suite, which was very spacious, clean, and quite modern. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed by an hour, but they offered us complimentary cookies. The room had an unlimited mini-bar, which was a nice bonus. There was both a shower and a bathtub, but specifically, the bathtub had no hot water. The front desk responded very quickly, called a plumber, and everything was fixed within half an hour. The location near the train station was perfect for our needs, and we had a good view of the city from our high-floor room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as it was quite sparse (lacking fish, waffles/pancakes, and more variety of vegetables and cold cuts). Otherwise, we liked everything; the front desk staff were friendly, but the restaurant staff at breakfast seemed tired. We also had dinner at the restaurant one evening and highly recommend the steaks; the dishes were amazing!

The hotel was clean and in a good location. I was happy that I could get slippers just by asking. The room was spacious, and I liked that it had a TV.

Overall we have enjoyed our stopover stay. Location was very good easy moving around by taking tram using an off peak 1-day pass for £1. The view from our room overlooking the way to train station was good.

This hotel is incredibly close to the train station – just downstairs, around the corner, and across the street. It was super convenient for my train trip to Sheffield the next day. It's also not far from Chinatown, though I have to say, the food I had there was terrible. The hotel also provided some complimentary snacks and drinks, which was a nice touch.

The room was decent, but the main issue was my clothes were stained by the cleaning solution used by housekeeping, as they were left on the bathroom counter. The manager at the time agreed to compensate me £30, but I still haven't received anything since returning to China. (They said they would process the refund through Trip.com, but I haven't heard a single update since April! I even emailed the hotel and received no response. Seriously, their service is beyond frustrating.)
