Two of us, Carer and client, so really appreciated QS bed in each room. Arrived in heatwave, so blinds closed and aircon plus ceiling fans in both bedrooms already turned on was great. Plenty of pillows. Accessible powerpoints to charge laptop and phone in each BR. Everything spotless. Good size fridge, easy to operate microwave. Very comfortable beds, kitchen chairs and lounge suite. Good communication, easy to access key safe. Clothesline, table and chairs on verandah. Even a safe in our Chalet! Will definitely stay again. Could not fault. Highly recommend!

Everything we needed was supplied in this very comfortable chalet. The location was excellent. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants and the beach as well as the town foreshore. The chalets are set in a lovely shaded environment and there is also a laundry on site if required.

This spotlessly clean accomodation lived up to the previous reviews. I recognise the experience of arriving after 4pm to find reception closed, then having to call the emergency number, being told that a code had been sent to your mobile number and eventually being given the safe code to access your room key. We too had an international phone and are still waiting for the code to arrive. However, setting that aside the chalet was clean, comfortable and convenient within easy walking distance of shops, information, bars, restaurants and boat hire or boat trips.

We arrived at 1100 and Mel (Admin lady) was very helpful. I was looking for an area to lock up my EBIKE and Mel stated I could check in at that point as our chalet was ready which was fantastic. Therefore we got the key 3 hrs b4 check in. Very friendly and efficient service. Chalets are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Close to all amenities too.

The chalets are spacious, very clean and has all the required facilities making my stay so convenient. A short stroll to the restaurants and canals makes this a perfect spot. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We were very impressed with the chalets during our stay, we had all the information we needed via text prior to our stay and collecting our keys was super easy. The actual chalet we were very impressed with! Very spacious and clean and had all the amenities we would need during our stay. Staff were happy to help with any queries and support. The location is great, beach just a 5 min walk, plenty of bars and restaurants close by and we saw dolphins almost every day! We were very happy with our stay and would certainly return, thanks again!

Office closed when should be open, someone in unit we booked and was dirty and stunk of cigarettes. Rang office ,was rude. No customer skills. Mould in bathroom, a/c does not work. Can not use fridge if someone at table. Couches uncomfortable.

Very comfortable. They had turned the heating on and as it was a cold day it was so nice. Very friendly staff and the chalet we stayed in was spotlessly clean. Linen clean and fresh and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay again. Close to everything. Thankyou

Having read some reviews on here that say the chalets are dirty and ru down I felt the Need to share my experience We arrived late on a Thursday afternoon to the heater on and a warm and welcoming room spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped - we attended a concert at the performing arts centre which was a quick stroll via a gate near our cabin - fabulously comfortable beds Coffee , tea and long life milk provided And every possible thing you could need for a fully self contained stay Absolutely loved our night here and will most definitely be back Thanks so much ❤️

We came here from Perth for a couple of nights. The chalets are situated perfectly on the quay next to the beach, walking distance from everything. Check in was smooth upon arrival. Chalets were clean and spacious they had everything we needed, parking space next to the chalet and a lovely outdoor seating area made it feel like a home from home! We will be returning!

We love staying at the Mandurah Ocean Marina Chalets, we've been coming here for around 18 Years. You have a choice of One and Two bedrooms, some even have spa's and there are a couple that provide wheelchair access. We're always welcomed with a smile and an interest to help with any requests by the management, thank you. The semi-gated community of chalets, facilities and gardens are always clean and tidy, the beds are comfy, not really much you need apart from your personal belongings. There's a nice shaded communal area, with BBQ's for entertaining family and friends and areas for children to play. Leave your car safely parked for the duration of your stay next to your chalet and you have direct access to the beach, movie theatre, hotels and bars, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, we give this our big thumbs up.

We just returned from a stay at Mandurah Ocean Marina Chalets and were thoroughly impressed with the new management. The previous tendency to favor certain guests, often leaving families like ours feeling a bit overlooked, has thankfully disappeared. While the prices have slightly increased and some amenities have been reduced, these adjustments are understandable considering the long period of low rates. The cleaning team continues to impress with their impeccable standards, maintaining the cleanliness we've always loved. The environment now feels more inclusive and suited to guests of all ages, from families to the elderly, making it a perfect spot for anyone looking for a holiday. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring that each visit is memorable for all the right reasons. We're already planning our next trip and are excited to see how the Chalets continue to evolve into a destination that truly caters to everyone.

“Under New Management” (in July 2023) and sadly, it shows. We have been “regulars” here for over 15 years, but we won’t be coming back. Terrible pre-stay communication (we weren’t informed we had to pay in full prior to arriving), chalets not completely cleaned, BBQs have been removed, office closed for the majority of the Easter weekend and not a Manager to be seen anywhere. New Managers are now just “Caretakers”. Great location and a nice place to stay as long as you don’t want to feel welcomed.

Regarding the removal of the BBQs, this decision was made with the safety of our youngest guests in mind, particularly to prevent accidents involving the accessible gas controls. Please rest assured that we continue to work with the same dedicated cleaning team who have consistently upheld our standards. We regret if this dedication was not evident during your recent visit, and we are taking steps to reinforce our cleaning protocols to ensure that all areas meet our high standards. During the Easter period, we adjusted our office hours to allow our team to spend time with their families on public holidays, a practice adopted by many businesses during this time. Our office however remained open for limited hours and our mobile was provided to each guest for service out of hours. As for the payment process, we generally require payment in full prior to arrival to streamline the check-in process. However, we understand the importance of flexibility and are accommodating adjustments during this transition to advance payments. We have been staying here for years but won’t stay again. We stayed from 23/25 feb. First contact on arrival I was asked by a very rude elderly cleaner what I wanted . I explained I just wanted to drop off my cool bag off because I was early to make the most of the day. I was told no we don’t do storage and checkin is strictly 2pm. It was a 38 degree day and I had to leave my food in the car. This was never an issue with previous manager. Finally checked in to room and find the floor was dirty, no shower gel just tiny soap. No face washers and a very noisy ceiling fan . The BBQ was-disgusting it looked like it had never been cleaned since new management took over . Coffee bags replaced with cheap sachets of coffee and only two teabags . This used to be a fantastic place to stay with lovely staff sadly no the same anymore . Maintenance is definitely not been done to properly the sprinkles where missing and water shooting into the air, dirty outdoor tables .

Our team prioritises room cleaning first thing in the morning and schedules BBQ cleaning later to accommodate guests who might still be enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the late morning. We aim to have the BBQs clean and ready for use before lunchtime, and we regret if this timing did not meet your expectations. We’re also glad you noticed our initiative to reduce single-use plastics. To be more environmentally friendly, we provide complimentary soap and shampoo-conditioner, intended to get you started, as our accommodations are self-contained, with many local shops nearby for any additional needs. Please be assured that our long-standing team of dedicated and lovely staff largely remains the same, committed to making your stay enjoyable. Regarding the sprinkler issue you mentioned, we were aware and awaiting maintenance, which has now been completed. We have also marked the fan down to check on. We genuinely value your patronage and feedback, as it helps us improve and ensure our guests' stays are as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We've been staying at the Ocean Marina Chalets on a regular basis for many years and just love the location and the chalets. We have always recommended it to family and friends but this is no longer the case. Unfortunately in the last 6-9 months we've seen a decline in cleanliness, maintenance and services/facilities provided. And this goes hand in hand with a significant price hike - on average an increase of about $50 per night! Disappointed that we had to rewash dishes before using them and that it was impossible to "Have A Cuppa on Us" as there wasn't a teabag to be seen! There used to be generous complimentary kitchen and bathroom packs and these have basically disappeared. We found a dirty towel in the bathroom (left from a previous guest) and this certainly raised the question of just how much cleaning had been done. We've also struggled to actually speak to anyone whenever we have phoned the office as it would appear not to be manned on a regular basis. The on-line booking system constantly timed out and wouldn't accept our booking - very frustrating. Hoping improvements can be made and restored to previous levels of service.
