Hi View Inn & Suites Reviews

Made a reservation here based on the proximity to LAX combined with the quality of the reviews. Since the major ‘complaint’ for this motel is the [micro] size of the standard room I’ve decided to stay on a suite. Paid more, obviously, but got a decent size room. Nothing great here but nothing bad to say about it either. It includes the standard appliances (microwave, fridge and coffee maker) and, as I’ve booked an accessible room, got the bonus of parking in front of the door. The price is reasonable (for the specific location) and due to the misfortune of getting noisy upstairs neighbors (CRAZY noisy, BTW), I had an OK stay.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a long road trip and it was perfect to chill out before flying home. Lovely friendly staff, room was really nice and clean with a great TV, fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Bathroom was lovely with a nice double walk in shower. Location is good and walking distance to a supermarket and some restaurants but a short drive opens up more places. Possible to walk to the beach but it’s a steep hill coming back so next time we drove and parked on the street no problem. Highly recommended.

We didn’t know what to expect with our stay at the Hi View Inn & Suites, it exceeded our expectations. The family that owns the hotel is very sweet and accommodating. They stored our bags the day we arrived and the day we left to help us out since our flight arrived early and left late. That allowed us to have two more visits to the beach which is exactly what you want on a beach trip. We will definitely be back, the location is perfect, it’s a very hilly walk to the beach but if you are in shape it’s definitely doable, the Uber ride to the beach is also very affordable. If you stay at the Hi View definitely go down the street for a healthy meal at Nine24 Kitchen or a treat at Creamy Boys. Can’t wait for our next visit to the Hi View Inn.

After my first night I thought I was going to have to give this place a 1* as there was so much noise through the room walls. Hearing everything down to snoring from the room next door and people coming back late at night. Thankfully the second night the noisy guests must have gone and it was much better. The room was clean and there was just enough space for a large suitcase next to the bed. The shower took quite a long time to get hot but stick with it and it will. All staff were very friendly and helpful though. Kindly keeping our luggage for a few hours after check out too. If in the area, I may stay again.

My experience at Hi View Inn was excellent. Check in was easy, the office manager was friendly and the room was clean. Close to beaches and restaurants. Good value for the price per night. I will stay here again.

For my first time in LA and arriving late because of flight delayed, the owner was very understanding, nice and friendly. The place is quiet, very clean and modern. Close distance to everything, ideal for business and worth every penny. So glad for my pick. Aida.
