Super 8 by Wyndham Manhattan KS

I booked a room online for my parents who are in their 80’s. I requested a handicapped room on the first floor. That request was only granted when my mother fell attempting to get up the stairs (no elevator). The room was dark and drab with an unpleasant odor. Very outdated!

faucet fixtures are not working as good as any faucet should . noticed black mold in shower area . windows in my room did not operate and lock to be safe ! Wyndham may have its name on hotel but its same old cheap hotel that I won't be staying at anymore .

There was not a lot to pick for breakfast. Staff was nice. Room was not too clean. There was a weird small in the hallways and room. It was okay for a one night stay.

The room had definitely not been cleaned well. For sure, the floors were not vacuumed, nor was all of the trash cleared out. Old coffee filter was still in coffee pot. The staff, however, was friendly and the price was cheap.

The room was clean no problems there. The key lock didn’t work on first room they sent us to. The next room they redid keys once and then when we returned from an event we went to the keys again didn’t work. So not sure what was going on with that.

The front office staff was friendly and professional. There were sketchy people loitering by the side of the building. In the shower, there was a 1 inch hole in the side wall. I couldn't get the TV to work at all, but it was late and didn't want to bother staff at that point.

They didn’t have breakfast. They couldn’t find the one and only iron on the premises. I had to buy one. The receptionist was great but the hotel is dirty- everywhere. I will not stay here again.

Room was very clean, great comfortable bed and ac was great. Fernando was very gracious and helped me with my luggage up the stairs and made sure I got to my car safely at 3am.

This hotel is quite dated and certainly could be much cleaner in the rooms and common areas. The room smelled a bit musty and the light switches didn’t work properly.
