Hotel H2O

We went there because we’re celebrating our anniversary. We’re expecting so much for our pool activity since the amenities posted online looked fun. Very disappointing stay at Hotel H2O. The restaurants had very limited options and closed too early, leaving guests with almost no dining choices. We were also looking forward to the pools, but most of them had no water, and the only one that was open was not appealing at all. (As seen in the photos). Breakfast buffet was horrible, all the food were not tasty and the area has no comfortable ventilation. To make matters worse, the intercom wasn’t working, the refrigerator in our room was also not functioning properly, the pillows smelled like chips, and the towels looked old and not presentable. For the price and reputation of the hotel, we expected much better service and facilities. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations at all. Never again 🥵

One of the most unique hotels in the Philippines, the ocean rooms have a full aquarium wall that's connected through all the rooms of that side. Different fish pass by at different times from room to room. They have great breakfast as well with a view of Manila bay while bacon is available on request for a small fee. Sunset views are awesome and dinner menu is well structured. While most of the hotel is spotless the main corridor outside the rooms could be cleaned more regularly as everyone is passing for there to get to the rooms. There was something odd in the morning just around the end of breakfast time. We could hear the chairs from upstairs being dragged on the wooden floor loudly around 9:30 am to 10:00 am, we were woken up several times as we tried to sleep after an early breakfast. The rest of the time it was whisper quiet and serene.

Overall, the stay was decent but not particularly memorable. The Bayview King room was average enough and functional, but nothing that stood out in terms of comfort or amenities. One thing to note is that there is no room service available, which may be inconvenient for some guests. The breakfast inclusion was a nice perk, but the food quality and taste were fairly average. It’s worth trying once, though I would recommend exploring nearby restaurants or cafés for a better dining experience. Also, be sure to carry some cash during your stay, as many establishments in the area do not accept online or digital payments. While the hotel serves its basic purpose, managing expectations will help you enjoy your trip more. Rating: 3/5 ⭐ — Acceptable for a short stay, but there are areas that could be improved.

The bonus was we arrived very early. Like 8am. She told us we can check in early but it would be 2k pesos. We declined and hung out at the lounge. She told us we can check in for free at 10am. We had a visa appt, and originally booked a cheaper hotel. We saw the reviews of the other one and decided to cancel. We saw H20 had a kiddy area with slides and splash pad, so we decided to splurge and enjoy it. We booked for 4 days. Only to find out the splash area was under construction. The pool was freezing, so my 8 month didn’t want to get in. We went to the outside one and it was smelling like a septic tank or sea lions, or something.. and could use a cleaning. we didn’t stay long. Our fish tank was nice when the fish came, in our room But it was rare. We were the last room, so maybe they didn’t come down as much.. staff was friendly and accommodating . But when I asked if we could walk in the Aquirum since the kiddy pool was not working. They said no, it’s an extra payment. Trip gave me $39 in trip coins, that we used. But the feeding of penguins were the same price or more to do then the actual ticket to get in.

The room was nice and had the amenities you’ll need. The only thing was that you had to pass through the entrance of Ocean Park to get inside. It was a nice experience.

The room view is superb, we just had a limited choices for the breakfast and other food..

We enjoyed our stay, especially our child who had so much fun. The room’s air conditioning was a bit weak and the lighting could be improved. Food and items inside are quite expensive, but Grab delivery is allowed. Overall, it was a great experience and worth it for families with kids. 😊

The room provided is far from the entrance, like very very far. The services did not clean our room despite hanging the “please make up the room” sign. Other than that, all good.

Stayed at Hotel H2O with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. Its main advantage is the location inside the park, providing direct access to attractions and making it easy to return to the room for naps and breaks. Pros * Excellent location inside the park with easy access to attractions. * Convenient for families with young children who need rest breaks. * Staff quickly resolved a minor issue with a broken bidet upon arrival. * Bed size is king as advertised. Cons * Cleanliness was adequate but not exceptional. * No room service available. * Restaurants are available on the ground floor and via GrabFood delivery, but in-room dining would be more convenient. * The hotel’s restaurant feels disconnected from the overall hotel experience. Recommendation Hotel H2O is a good choice if your main goal is visiting the  attractions, especially with young children. If you do not plan to spend time in the area, other hotels may offer better value.
