Holiday Inn Express & Suites MANKATO EAST by IHG

Our room was 87 degrees when we got there, which was a little too warm. But other than that it was clean and location was convenient

Busy weekend at this location and only had one elevator working. Friendly staff. Clean room other than the long dark hair on the shower wall. Would stay here again.

My wife and I took our grandkids to the hotel for a spring break staycation. They were excited about the pool area and the large room (suite) that was comfortable for all 5 of us. It was an excellent experience for all of us.

Check in was quick an easy. Room was clean and ready. Plenty of parking for a weekend trip. Close by to restaurants and the mall.

Guests in pool area had alcohol party going on, full beers dumped in the pool. My kids got really sick from this. Then party continued to rooms which kept us awake way past 2 am.

The heating system in the room whistles. I had to turn a white noise app on to sleep. The vents in the room & bathroom are filthy.

Breakfast staff and cleaning staff were exceptional and so incredibly kind and helpful. One breakfast staff went way out of her way to help so many children! It was amazing to see!!

5 stars is not fair to me but fewer stars wouldn’t quite be right either. We were unable to use our $380 rooms due to weather. We called the hotel who said no problem for refund which was a happy surprise. But they didn’t give us one. We did have non refundable rooms. Get refundable rooms.

Hotel main area and room and pool areas fine. Would have liked some more options for breakfast but overall a good hotel.
