Manzhouli Matryoshka Castle Hotel

The dazzling night lights were a magnet for tourists, drawing them in to snap photos and commemorate their visit. My room was so spacious and comfortable that I extended my stay for an additional night. The following morning, as I was leaving, I noticed a unique matryoshka doll robot vacuum cleaner.

Extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here. **Cleanliness:** Impeccable. **Facilities:** Excellent and comprehensive. **Environment:** Very pleasant. **Service:** The staff were incredibly warm and took the time to clearly explain all charges, which meant there were absolutely no surprises or confusion about the bill.

Located right next to the Matryoshka Hotel, this place offers excellent value for money. It's internally connected to the Matryoshka Hotel, and choosing the room package with tickets to the Matryoshka Scenic Area was definitely worth it. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying. It's also conveniently located very close to the National Gate Scenic Area. A two-night stay would be ideal.

A big shout-out to the front desk staff for their excellent service! They helped me switch to a room with reliable hot water access and even provided complimentary breakfast vouchers. My only minor gripe was with the luggage: there was no ramp, and disappointingly, no one was available to assist with carrying it. Other than that, the room's facilities were decent.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I absolutely have to complain! While the room was spacious and the hot water was decent, the attention to detail was severely lacking, and there were serious safety hazards. The room floors and stairs were incredibly slippery with no anti-slip design whatsoever. The shower drain was extremely slow, causing water to overflow and spill everywhere. As a result, I accidentally slipped on the stairs, leaving my tailbone in excruciating pain and unable to move, which completely ruined the rest of my trip! Furthermore, the Wi-Fi was constantly cutting out, the bedding wasn't clean, and some hangers were broken. Basic amenities like tissues were not provided, indicating a general lack of care that doesn't match the hotel's supposed standards. Most appallingly, the service response was utterly inadequate; the hotel showed absolutely no reaction or concern after a guest (myself) fell down their stairs!

Staying in the log cabin villa was quite an experience on our Inner Mongolia trip. The villa was very spacious, with two bedrooms – one upstairs and one downstairs – each boasting its own bathroom, which was incredibly convenient for families. The ground floor also featured a combined living and dining area, perfect for bringing back groceries and sharing meals as a family. The only drawback was that the central air conditioning in our specific villa wasn't functioning properly, meaning the heating didn't work. Fortunately, the two individual AC units in the bedrooms worked perfectly fine.
