Amritara A Beach Symphony

We arrived at our villa weary from a month’s tour of India. Having received a warm and friendly welcome we found the villa was private, clean & of an excellent quality standard. We loved that the Chef visited us to discuss and take our food order daily before going out to source the local produce. Cooking was of a high standard and we enjoyed being able to eat our meals at our villa. If you are looking for privacy & peace then a stay here is a must! Note, this is not a hotel, no 24hr reception or bar. Pool & facilities were good & clean. We will definitely consider visiting again 😁

This is our second holiday here 😃and we stayed for 12 nights. This truly was the relaxing get away from it all break we needed. The walled garden setting with 4 cottages and a shared pool is magical. Our cottage had it own private plunge pool and each cottage has its own veranda where you take your meals. The grounds are beautifully kept, Deepu and his team are attentive without being intrusive and the delicious Keralan cuisine 😋 from Chef was fabulous. Our cottage had air conditioning, fans and a spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed, high ceiling with separate dressing area. Did I mention a cut coconut 🥥 to drink from the garden? Local festival with elephants? A Beach Symphony (ABS) is just a few minutes walk to Marari beach and 5 minutes to the nearest village shop. Whether you want to explore Kerala and make ABS your base,for have a rest from travelling Deepu can arrange any tours or activities you might want. For us, it was all about relaxation and we cycled to the local Auvervdic Centre for daily treatments. If you are flying home from Cochin, a night or 2 at their sister hotel in Fort Kochi is a good option to keep the vibe but dip your toe back into town life. I would thoroughly recommend ABS for a holiday of unpretentious luxury, natural lush beauty , and Keralan culture.

We had a wonderful 2N/3D stay at Amritara. Nestled in the beach town of Mararikulam, it's the perfect getaway from the bustle of Kochi. The experience and service felt very personalised, and the staff was warm and hospitable. Would highly recommend if you are on the lookout for a boutique property.

Great place to stay. It is a relative small property, but it has all the facilties for a super relaxing stay: beautiful privite accomodation, a splendit pool and excellent personal service. Don’t expect a TV-set in your room, but expect a personal breakfast, lunch and diner, espacially prepared for you by the outstanding chef, served on your own sun porch.

Four individual and comfortable cottages in a lovely walled garden providing a tranquil and hospitable hide away whether a ro***tic break, solo chill or family adventure. So well looked after and fed very well. Three minutes walk from action if beach.

Had the villa with pool which was comfy and spacious. Staff helpful and ***ager Deepu was most helpful. Chef provided fine food. No licence so bring your own alcohol. Well situated by beach in its own fenced off area. Beach got places to eat which are cheap and tasty though often takes a while for food to arrive, but this is laid back India!

Great accommodation very near to Marari Beach. We stayed here for 4 nights in a rustic bungalow. Very spacious, good air conditioning and lovely outdoor space to relax. We had dinner on our balcony one night , which very good and enjoyed good breakfasts in the morning.

Very comfortable and attractive cottage in a private and secluded compound close to Marari Beach. The service was discreet and attentive and we enjoyed our short stay there. There is lots of space around each of the 4 cottages and the pool was very quiet and private.

Perfect. Staff amazing, pool villa just brilliant, location great and unbelievable food. Communication with Deepu was so quick and everything we asked for was sourced very quickly and efficiently. Thank you to all the staff. You made are stay so relaxed.
