TRUE HOSPITALITY IS GIFTING GUESTS HAPPINESS… Huge thanks to MASSIMO for greatly enhancing our stay at the wonderful HOTEL MONARQUE EL RODEO, MARBELLA ! This large, immaculate, brilliantly located hotel has a fine ambassador in MASSIMO who greeted us on arrival with genuine warmth and assisted us by cheerfully offering us a choice of rooms, although this large and lovely hotel was nearly full to capacity. We opted for one of the huge corner rooms which boasted a great wrap around balcony, with sea views to front and mountain views to rear. We were more than happy to pay a small additional add-on fee for the luxury and pure delight this room swop offered. Thank you also to Antonio for good written communications in the run up to arrival. Only a handful of minutes to the beach in one direction and Orange Square the other, this hotel is a fantastic great value choice especially with staff who really want to make you happy! Delightful partially shaded rooftop pool with sunbeds not to be missed !

We’ve had a great stay, 6 of us in all, rooms on the 4th floor which were spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, buffet style with lots of choice. Nice hotel lounge bar where we met for drinks before heading out The hotel is well placed for everything, beach, Orange Square, restaurants and shops. All the staff are so friendly and helpful we would certainly recommend.

Lovely Hotel in a central location in Marbella 2 mins walk to the the beach. I wouldn't say it would be great for families with kids but that's only my opinion. We were a group of nine males playing golf so we were out all day. Rooms were very comfortable The staff were very friendly and only to happy to assist you in anyway possible I'd highly recommend this hotel

This is our second time at this Hotel. The hotel is situated in a perfect place minutes to the Beach restaurants and the Beautiful old Town. The rooms are a nice size beds very comfy and they are cleaned everyday. Air con is Good and free but you do have to pay for a safe. They also have toiletries and a Hairdryer. The choice of Breakfast is very Good. All staff are very friendly and helpful. When we go to Marbella again this will be the hotel we will use.

The location was excellent- literally in a small side road that led to all shops, restaurants, bars with the famous Old Town to the left and Playa Venus to your right - 5 mins walk to either. The rooms were decent, very comfy beds , kept super clean by maids. Food was pretty poor at breakfast and any warm food was rather cold. Coffee awful from machine. The little rooftop pool was a great way to cool off , not busy and enough beds to go round- BUT please!! Renew or Replace the sunbeds! Even the beach has mattresses! Uncomfortable and old fashioned. My only real criticism of a decent 3 star hotel.

We booked this hotel as a short stay as we were here for a Wedding. The rooms are basic but very large with working effective aircon. There's a rooftop pool that was very peaceful. We didn't use much of the facilities except breakfast as we had a busy few days but for the price you'd struggle to complain about anything

This hotel is perfectly situated in Marbella town close to the beach and orange square. There was plenty to choose for breakfast, offering cooked, continental and cereal. The coffee is OK We stayed in room 110 It was cleaned daily and the room is spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. I have only given this hotel 3 out of 5 due to the daily back flowed of drainage water At around 10am every morning the drains in the sink bath and toilet came back up. It was dirty water. A cleaner told us it was from the pressure when turning in the pumps in the rooftop pool. However the staff at reception didn’t seem to think so. I would stay here again. Just not in room 110.

We stayed at El Rodeo for 11 nights from 26th May and enjoyed every minute, it was our third time at this hotel. It is in a perfect spot in the centre of Marbella for visiting the seafront the old town and catching buses round the corner to go up and down the coast. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and all the staff are so friendly and helpful especially our friend Juan in the restaurant where nothing is too much trouble for him to help guests. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. We had a wardrobe each which was great, there was a fridge, safe (3€ a day) and a good sized bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. Furnished balcony with perspex glass wall and a clothes dryer. Bring a small travel kettle if you want to make hot drinks through the day. The top floor (7th) had a small pool and sunbathing areas with sunbeds (some need replaced as quite worn) and umbrellas. Restaurant was small but provided an adequate breakfast/lunch/dinner menu. Please remember this is a good quality 3* hotel but if you are a fussy eater then there are many restaurants close by to suit all. We love this small hotel and will be back again and would recommend.

We spent two weeks at this hotel, and largely it was good. The food was a bit repetitive. You could tell what day it was by the food provided. The food was probably aimed at a Spanish clientele, which is NOT a complaint. Most of the meat was on the bone, and most dinner's had a preponderance of fish We never saw potatoes except as chips or hash browns. Pasta was available at every dinner . Desserts were disappointing with luminous jelly , rice pudding, dry cakes & ice cream. It would have an idea to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The weather was rotten, but that's not the hotel's fault. The location is marvellous, being only 200 metres from the local beach, with many bars close by.
