Comfortable stay, very friendly and good location! Lovely brekky, plenty to choose from as far as a continental goes! Loved the spa, used it every day :) Take some time out to use the trail at the back of the property.....beautiful nature walk! Fully recommend the italian restaurant up the road(La Scarpetta).....very traditional. Our best wineries....Edwards, Jarvis and Xanadu. All were good though, could stay a lifetime but Oh well.....back to reality. Thanks HTL and Margaret River!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay From comfortable beds to the lovely back deck to enjoy a glass of wine - it’s a great home base to explore the area from. We enjoyed walking into town and Our favourite place for food and drink was right next door at Margaret river brewing! Tips from our hosts provided some great experiences including an afternoon at Hamelin Bay. Would absolutely stay again

We enjoyed every minute of our three night stay at The Heritage Trail Lodge. Everything was perfect. The owners are super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is great. Our rooms looked out over the forest, with its fascinating birdlife and visiting ring necked parrots. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in anywhere. We loved Margaret River and definitely hope to stay at The Heritage Trail Lodge again, only for longer next time.

The Heritage Trail Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The room was lovely with plenty of birds and trees to watch from the balcony. Terry was welcoming and knowledgeable about Margaret River. The location was perfect- surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees but within walking distance to the main ***** and all the restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location within walking distance to the main town. Accommodation was top notch, and the balcony overlooking the bushland and trails was amazing. Continental breakfast was fantastic. The welcome from the staff was pleasant enough. They were on hand if required.

Lovely couple run this hotel and are always there to help and chat. Location is good with just a short walk into the town. There’s a brewery next door that does have live music Friday nights but it stops at dinner time so doesn’t disturb your rest. There is some minor road noise but once again the traffic stops at night so we always slept well. But definitely choose one of the back rooms facing the forest. Great continental breakfast. Good aircon. Wifi worked well except a few times when under stress. DVD’s available in the foyer to add to free tv. Room large and clean. Bonus - Australian Ringneck birds love the back deck. Thanks Helen and Terry. A lovely stay.

We stayed for a couple of nights and it’s a very nice and enjoyable stay!! The room was clean and spacious! It’s easy to find the place and located right next to the Margaret River brewery! The courtyard faces the forest and it’s very tranquil! Hosts, Terry and Helen are friendly and helpful.

The Trail Lodge was very comfortable and in a good location.the Cintinental Breakfasts were really nice with a lot of variety although I wished it was available earlier than 8.30am. My only issue was with the shower. You could only have it on really low otherwise it wet the whole bathroom.

We only stayed a couple of nights, but wished we could stay longer as we loved the place. The room was very nice, and we had all we wanted for our stay. Good location, easy to find, and short stroll from the main street. We will certainly be staying here the next time we visit to repeat our Margaret River Discovery experience with Sean.
