B. F. Hiestand House Bed & Breakfast

You are in for a treat! A lovely, cozy alternative to the cookie cutter hotel, this gem is the perfect getaway. This 19th century dwelling is rich with dark wood that exudes an era of bygone luxury. Comfy bed, the well-appointed rooms have individual style designs. The details are exquisite. (Great spot for a wedding too.) Can't say enough about the proprietors, Pam and Dallas; so welcoming they felt like old friends. And they serve a mean breakfast too! So glad we stayed for two nights instead on one. Next time we're in the area, we'll be guests again!

If you want a quiet, comfortable getaway in Marietta, this is it. Pam and Dallas are outstanding hosts —friendly, courteous, personable, and professional. the Vanderslice suite feels like a private retreat—spacious, beautifully kept, with a cozy reading room/library and a large jetted tub that’s ideal for relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, satisfying. Mac the yellow Lab is sweetheart an dadded delight. I’ll definitely be back!

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Victorian-style bed and breakfast. The house is full of character—warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained with lovely period details. My room was spotless and cozy, with all the modern comforts while still keeping the charm. One highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast! Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. From the cinnamon coffee cake to perfectly brewed coffee, it was the perfect start to the day. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I can’t recommend this B&B enough—perfect for a relaxing time away.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Pam and Dallas were gracious hosts and Mac the super pup was an absolute treasure. Delicious breakfasts and top notch coffee. Relaxing and gorgeous in a quaint little town on the water. Looking forward to returning one day.

The B&B was adorable, with very warm and welcoming hosts. I arrived in the evening and was immediately made to feel at home, with Pam, Dallas and a very waggy Mac there to greet me. They recommended places to eat, an what to do while I was there. I stayed in the Sun Room, which was very homely. The room is next to a main road, so it is a little noisy at times, but they have a white noise machine and ear plugs for you use, neither of which I needed to use. Breakfast was wonderful, with a different plate being served on each of the 2 days I was there, and my choice of tea, coffee of juice. Overall, I loved my stay and have already recommended to friends and colleagues who will be needing to visit in the coming months. Thank you Pam, Dallas and Mac!

Our stay was amazing! We booked the Vanderslice Suite which was much bigger than expected. Our stay was very relaxed and quiet. We met Pam, Dallas, and Mac upon arrival and knew immediately we were at the right place! Great people and great conversation! An ice storm ruined our plans for the evening, so we spent most of our night in the suite. Breakfast was served at 9am and we ate with one other couple and also very nice to talk with. We loved our brief stay and will be returning in nicer weather!

We loved our stay at the B F Hiestand House. Our room was superior. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was a mix of modern and historic. There was huge walk-in shower and the house’s original stain glass window and tile. The porch was a pure delight to sit and relax. The host were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Both of the breakfasts were delicious. Everything was homemade. This is great bed and breakfast in historic Marietta in Lancaster county.

The breakfast everyday was delicious and they were always so helpful with recommendations around the area. Very sweet family
