I booked the entire Riad (9 bedrooms) for a group of 14 ladies for my Sister’s hen weekend. We all had the most amazing weekend! Yasmine was my main contact when booking and she was amazing! She was always willing to help and answer any questions I had. I honestly can’t thank her enough for all the help she provided over the whole weekend. It made organising a hen weekend abroad for a large group so much easier and stress free. She organised a fantastic day trip (3 Valleys hike) all of our table bookings for dinner and drinks, airport transfers and transport. One evening we enjoyed a traditional Moroccan 3 course meal cooked by the amazing kitchen staff at the Riad and it was the best food we had all weekend! Yasmine decorated the table beautifully (using the decorations I had brought with me and she provided fresh flowers for the table too!) and also arranged for Moroccan musicians to play whilst we ate. It was the most amazing evening. We also had one lady with very specific dietary requirements and Yasmine went out of her way and organised everything to make sure she was looked after. The Riad was absolutely stunning, so much more beautiful in person. The fountain was decorated with pink and white roses and there were fresh flowers and treats put in my Sister’s room on arrival. The homemade breakfast served every morning was delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the pool area was the perfect place to relax. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Mustapha was so incredible, he really looked after us, he served us delicious mint tea and pastries every morning and was always available for anything we needed. A few of the girls had treatments (Hammam and massage) in the Riad too! This was such a luxury and was perfect that we could have a spa day at the Riad! I cannot recommend Riad Dar Al Walidine enough! I will definitely be planning a trip back soon. Thank you so much to Yasmine, her family and staff (especially Mustapha!) for making our stay and my Sister’s hen weekend so memorable.

My stay at riad dar al walidine was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are tastefully decorated and perfectly reflect the authentic charm of the local culture. Breakfast, included in our stay, was a veritable feast! A variety of delicious dishes, from local pastries to fresh fruit, were offered each morning. Mint tea, served at will, was a real treat. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also took advantage of the hammam and treatments offered on site, a very relaxing experience that I highly recommend. Thanks again to the whole team for their hospitality and professionalism. We'll be back without hesitation!

We had the best time at Riad Dar Al Walidine! As soon as we got there we were welcomed with Moroccan Mint Tea and Moroccan pastries. We were also given a map and lots of tips of getting round the city and what to explore. On our first day visiting, sadly the Earthquake struck but luckily no one was hurt and the Riad made sure we were okay and safe too! Also the Riad wasn’t damaged thank goodness apart from a few cracks in the glass rooftop. The media has reported a few old built houses that have collapsed in the Medina, but the worst damage is in the Atlas Mountains sadly where the epicentre is and most of the deaths. You can still visit Marrakech, there is tons to explore! We will have been here for 10 days and it’s just the perfect amount of time to do everything. Riad Dar Al Walidine even offered to teach us a cooking course of how to make a Tagine, Moroccan Bread and Moroccan Mint Tea! We had so much fun learning all about Moroccan food I wrote lots of notes, and it tasted INCREDIBLE! Please come stay at this Riad and support this gorgeous hotel, it really was such a special experience for us and we have so many happy memories here! Already we would love to come back! Thank you Riad Dar Al Walidine for the BEST time! Jen and Niall Sullivan xxx

I stayed at Riad Dar Al Walidine with my family for our first Moroccan riad experience, and it was truly wonderful! The riad's charm, exquisite decorations, and its seamless blend of modernity with traditional architecture made us feel right at home. Yasmine and her parents, the owners, were incredibly hospitable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast offered a delicious and diverse spread. I highly recommend Riad Dar Al Walidine for a memorable stay, especially if you're traveling with children; it's perfect for families.

We stayed at Yasmine's riad with my family for four nights. We had the most FANTASTIC stay in a Riad. We felt home, Yasmine and her parents treated us like family members. We were the guest of honour. The riad is SPLENDID, extremely well decorated with high standard material, details, finishing and taste. All rooms are different with a unique style mixed between Moroccan and vintage. The swimming pool and lounge area outside is well planned and allowed us to refresh at the end of the day in a lush and green environment. The breakfast is just delicious, every day different, colourful and tasteful. Yasmine and her family made sure we had everything we needed. Yasmine even dedicated her time to show us around the Medina, and all the highlights of Marrakech. The location is perfect as you can walk through the Medina to Jemaa el-Fna square. The hosting of Yasmine and her family allow us to experience the generosity of the Moroccan people and learn a bit of culture and history. I would highly recommend to stay at Riad al Walidine to families with children, couples, groups of friends or solo travellers.

Such a beautiful and comfortable Riad. Yasmine and Aisha were the best! We were a big group there for work and they have accommodated all our funny requests. I’d definitely come back. In fact, I’d move in if I could!

Amazing clean and friendly place to stay. The owners will look after you like family. The breakfast was beautiful and our room was superb. The hotel is a little away from the medina but you can take a taxi or tuktuk anytime. Highly recommend

I stayed in this Riad for the first two weeks of March. When I arrived I was greeted by the hosts, Yasmine and Amina. They walked me through a tour and orientation. The inside of the Riad is both modern and traditional Moroccan. The lounge area has a very warm and friendly atmosphere with comfortable sofa and chairs. There is a very nice fireplace and a big screen TV. A pool outside is a great place to relax and get some sun. You feel isolated from the noise and hustle and bustle of busy Marrakech. I was shown to my room, which is decorated in antique Moroccan style. The comfortable beds are a highlight. After spending days walking in the Madina and sight seeing it was nice to come back to such a comfortable room and bed. The famous Marrakech Madina is only about a five or ten minute walk. From this Riad you can be an early riser and on the go or just relax in the morning. Aicha brings you a nice Moroccan breakfast. She is a big reason I will return. Such a hard worker yet the most pleasant and happy person you will ever meet. And, and excellent cook. She bends over backward to make sure you have the best service. Yasmine and Amina, your hosts make you feel immediately at home. I was always treated like a VIP but by the time I left I felt like family. If you are not familiar with Marrakech or the surrounding area, they will arrange transportation when you need it and give you advice on what sights to see and what your want to do while you are in Marrakech. I made several side trips. Essaouira, a beautiful city on the ocean about two and a half hours from Marrakech. I also visited Ouzoud Waterfalls again about two and a half hours by car. And Oukaimeden, a village at about 2800 meter (9000 feet) in the Atlas Mountains. By the way you can see the Atlas Mountain on a clear day from the Riad or from a balloon ride. Spectacular. There are so many thing to do in Marrakech and places nearby, I felt like I could have stayed for a month and not seen them all. The Riad Al Walidine is a great place to stay for a few days or a few weeks. It’s centralized and the entire staff is what you would want from the friendly Moroccan people. Yasmine speaks Arabic, French and English perfectly, which makes communications so easy. I would like to give a special thanks to Yasmine for taking such good care of me. This was true for all the guests. Amina for how well everything runs and her warm friendly smile and attention to the guests. Finally, Aicha. She is a great cook and seems to know what you want and how to prepare it. Her chef skills are as good as any I’ve seen. She is also one of the most pleasant people I’ve found in my many travels. By the time I left after two weeks, which seemed like only days, I felt like family. I will miss my new Moroccan family. Thanks for everything.

We stayed at Al Waladin between the dates of 02-Feb and 08-Feb this year. We landed in Marrakech quite late in the evening, at least an hour after our scheduled time, but still had the hotel's driver waiting for us. We were greeted at the hotel by Yasmine (much later than her bed time as we later learnt!), and she then showed us to our room, provided us with snacks, water, and checked us in the morning after. Breakfast is good (a mixture of breads, spreads, fresh fruit, juice and tea), but it could potentially be better for plant-based diets where the main offering ended up being diced cucumber, tomato and fruit (some avocado was requested on the first day but never materialised). For non-vegans there was also the option of eggs (depending on availability, as this was only served a couple of times during our stay), and cheese. Yasmine was very friendly throughout our stay, and offered to suggest possible activities for us to do. We already had a fully planned itinerary, but her services are there if needed! We were out for long periods, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time in our room too. A nice amount of space, beautiful private balcony, and fantastic housekeepers. We had an issue with our shower door which didn't fully close, which in combination with poor drainage on one night resulted in our room flooding a little. This was dealt with the day after and we had no further issues. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again. It's a location easy for drivers to locate (which is crucial), and within walkable distance (2 minutes) of a convenience store as well as the busyness of Marrakech a little further away.
