We stayed at Al Waladin between the dates of 02-Feb and 08-Feb this year. We landed in Marrakech quite late in the evening, at least an hour after our scheduled time, but still had the hotel's driver waiting for us. We were greeted at the hotel by Yasmine (much later than her bed time as we later learnt!), and she then showed us to our room, provided us with snacks, water, and checked us in the morning after. Breakfast is good (a mixture of breads, spreads, fresh fruit, juice and tea), but it could potentially be better for plant-based diets where the main offering ended up being diced cucumber, tomato and fruit (some avocado was requested on the first day but never materialised). For non-vegans there was also the option of eggs (depending on availability, as this was only served a couple of times during our stay), and cheese. Yasmine was very friendly throughout our stay, and offered to suggest possible activities for us to do. We already had a fully planned itinerary, but her services are there if needed! We were out for long periods, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time in our room too. A nice amount of space, beautiful private balcony, and fantastic housekeepers. We had an issue with our shower door which didn't fully close, which in combination with poor drainage on one night resulted in our room flooding a little. This was dealt with the day after and we had no further issues. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again. It's a location easy for drivers to locate (which is crucial), and within walkable distance (2 minutes) of a convenience store as well as the busyness of Marrakech a little further away.
