The experience was average , I wouldn’t recommend the location for luxury travelers and the service was ok , although the staff were very accommodating and kind but the place not was not what I hoped for .

Super Riad, attentive staff

The actual place looks nothing like the photos on Dar Ikalimo's website. Breakfasts and dinners were utterly uninspired; it was the same rotation of meatballs, chicken, or beef throughout our stay. The terrace left much to be desired. The cushions on the benches were only changed the day before we left (likely in response to another guest's complaint). We felt compelled to shower in flip-flops. I could list other issues, but our photos really tell the story. However, there were some positive aspects: the mattress was excellent, and the bedding was spotless. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always available, even recommending interesting places in Marrakech. I sincerely hope the management doesn't delete this review.

This place is absolutely dreadful, poorly signposted and run-down. Upon our arrival, they claimed they hadn't received our booking from ***********, even though it was already paid for! They left us stranded for 3 hours without offering any assistance to find alternative accommodation. Avoid at all costs!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE with love holidays. We were told it was over booked when we arrived, after several hours we were moved to another riad out of town, cost us £100 in cabs during our stay. Awful experience. It was a special birthday for me and it was ruined

Booked through love holidays, looked beautiful. Arrived to find room unavailable. Excuse was maintenance. Transferred us to a budget back packer hotel. Same money. Ironically they are still advertising rooms for the dates they said not available. If I've ever been scammed, this is the hotel that did it !! Travellers beware.

A fantastic place to stay with autentic charm and a homely atmosphere. The staff were so friendly, professional and most helpful at all times. I really enjojyed a great experience as a guest at this wonderful Dar.

Incredible hospitality. The stay was top notch and the location was perfect. The meal we had on the rooftop couldn't be beat. Don't hesitate. If you're looking for a convenient location with a great host you've found it.

Just came back from 7 nights at this place. Clean hotel, we had to swap rooms because the air conditioning stopped working, but this was no issue for us as there was a spare room. Good location to access the medina on foot. Just 10 minute stroll to the souks, main square and museums. Very helpful young night manager

Simple but very pleasant hotel with wonderfully accommodating staff. Our room was small but scrupulously clean and very quiet at.night. Breakfasts were tasty and served at our convenience. Location was perfect being literally 2.mins from the medina. Don't expect any frills but for value for.money and good service this is hard to beat.

You have to be careful what you book here. It's not right to call it a hotel. It's a simple guest house. You can't attribute the rating to the staff, who were always very friendly and accommodating. They are the least to blame for the fact that we didn't like it. The location is central and everything can be reached on foot. The owner told me herself that there are 2 houses. The photos show the "better" house. We were in the simpler one first, which was at the back of a narrow, winding alley (not very pleasant at night). There are no photos of this on the website. Our room was super cramped, right next to the kitchen, so very loud. You could hear the phone ringing well into the night. The TV above our room was also on at maximum volume, it was hard to sleep. The bathroom was a bit old and the shower was pretty unhygienic. We didn't use the shampoo and shower bottles, they weren't clean. The doors and windows aren't airtight and face the inner courtyard. You have no view and you can hear everything that was going on outside. Among other things, the following were missing: hairdryer, minibar, slippers, safe, restaurant and café, children's playground (impossible as there is no walkway!!), spa and the WiFi was super slow. All of this is promised on the website. The breakfast, well, Moroccan standard. The dishes were very worn and showed a lot of signs of wear. We also don't know how clean it was. At least the thermos jug with the milk was quite dirty. Don't be fooled by the description. We were not at all satisfied and were initially given a contact person in Mallorca. I explained our problem, but there was no response. This turned out to be a mistake on Migros' part. They asked for a little patience and I should describe everything again. A whole 2 days were lost. On the 3rd day the Moroccan agent called and wanted to know again what was wrong. I had to explain everything 3 times. We just didn't feel comfortable in this house and I just wanted to leave. The owner also tried to talk to her, but we wanted the agent to sort it out. You could see that she was a little embarrassed. We were given a better, slightly larger room in the main building, although this one didn't have everything that was promised. However, it was very close to the exit of the alley. The shower head holder was on the floor, so we had to hold it with our hands. The shower had a wooden door that was moldy from the moisture and reinforced with a board. Quite unhygienic. The toilet and the washbasin, very tiny, were separate and quite narrow. A musty smell greeted us. In the wardrobe there were only 2 coat hangers and still rubbish from the previous occupant. Unfortunately, we never saw the owner again. Migros didn't ask again either. So we can't give a better rating. I suggest that Mig

The RIAD is very well located but difficult to find, when I arrived I was greeted with mint tea with dates Room OK apart from an outdated shower room Delicious Moroccan breakfasts I wanted to particularly thank the considerate person (24 hours a day at the RIAD) who took my suitcase down the morning of my departure at 4:45 a.m. He stayed with me in the street waiting for my taxi supplier for my transfer who did not come despite several calls, in vain, until at 5:45 a.m. He called a friend who drove me to the airport A big THANK YOU again

The space, although small, is very cozy and very clean. Its great advantage is its proximity to the main places of tourist interest. Mourad (employee) was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the entire stay. Meals on the terrace were the best part.

Ho soggiornato 5 giorni con mio figlio per vacanza e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione è ottima , le camere molto accoglienti , con letti comodissimi, temperatura giusta , luci soffuse e nessun rumore sgradito , solo il canto degli uccellini e la pioggia. Ringraziamo tutto il personale che ci ha accolto e coccolato, in particolare Souleyman che è stato un ospite eccezionale.
