It's very unique, the staff are very friendly, and it's clean and tidy, but you have to drag your suitcase around for a long time.

We had a great stay at Casa Lala. The room was beautiful and large, and a big water bottle was waiting for us when we arrived. The room was hot and we couldn't get the AC to work initially, but an employee promptly helped us and our room was nice and cool after that. Our daily complimentary breakfast each day was delicious with a lot of food and fresh orange juice. The chef even made a breakfast earlier for us when we had a tour to meet. We took advantage of the Hammam and the cooking class while we were there. The hammam was wonderful and relaxing and cost about 40 USD for 2 hours. The cooking class cost about 60 USD for making three course meal and chef hats. All the employees were very kind and accommodating and the riad was clean, quiet and we felt safe. It was a bit of a walk away from the busy market, so I would have been nervous walking back at night alone. I stayed here with two of my friends, one of which arrived a couple hours before myself and my other friend. The following is my only complaint about the riad and why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. We had set up two airport transfers with the hotel. When my first friend arrived at the airport alone, there was no airport transfer to pick her up. She ended up taking a taxi to the square and carrying her own luggage through the streets and getting lost. When she finally found the riad, an employee argued with her that she did not set up and airport transfer for herself even though she had proof on the e-mail that she did. This first friend made sure that our airport transfer would be there when we arrived. When my friend and I arrived later, we had a man waiting for us at the airport with a sign with the name of the riad and our names. Someone carried our bags to the riad and we arrived safely and smoothly. Other than this, I would definitely recommend Casa Lala to others; we even joked that if we returned to Marrakesh that we would spend a whole day just at the riad.

Fantastic stay at the Casa Lalla beginning of December. Everything about the place was perfect. Comms before flying out about airport transfers was great, airport transfer itself was great. The room - great size and a really comfy bed, show hot and had enough power, little snacks left every night. Breakfast - lots of choice, great coffee, choice of eggs in the morning cooked for you. Dinner - We had dinner one night and food was lovely, it's al la carte so don't expect a tagine but nevertheless the food was great. The roof top bar - this is the best bit, after walking around all day it's great to come back and have a few Casablanca beers or a glass of Prosecco, they are UK prices but it's still great. The staff are fantastic, can't remember the barmans name but he was so polite and friendly, a big thumbs up for the hotel. Surrounding area - 5 mins walk from the main square and 20 mins walk to the El Badi Palace. If you are looking for somewhere to book and like a drink after a long day sightseeing then you can't go wrong with Casa Lalla

Ac not working. Rooms had no windows. Hotel staff did not understand the issue. As was blowing air but not cool. Poor. Separately the Room beds was not clear on the website. It said 2 sofa beds and a queen bed but it was 1 sofa bed and one other big bed. This was not an issue for us but not good. Don’t stay here.

This was our fifth trip to Marrakech and this was by far the worst Riad experience we have ever had! I booked 2 Senior Suites on the second floor and one of the rooms had a strong odor of sewer that woke up my elderly mother in the middle of the night with a bad headache and had to open the windows. When we contacted management, the manager Alex informed us that they are aware of the sewer backup in the shower, but didn't want to disturb us so they just left us to soak in the nasty odor until I demanded a solution or another room!!His solution to fix this issue was to place 2 candles in the room to cover the odor of sewer until it is fixed. I am beyond disappointed in this Riad. Although the staff were friendly, however this Riad needs major improvement. There is music band playing until 10p.m every night which we could hear loud and clear inside our rooms on the second floor. Our 2 years old who usually goes to sleep at 8:00p.m. was wide awake until the music stopped playing every night. Do not come to this Riad if you have children, it is very loud, smells like a sewer and is not child friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this refined, romantic riad in Marrakech Madina, as well as the welcoming staff. And delicious food. I recommend so much this place. And a beautiful moment, in the Medina, I will be back certainly without any doubts.

I and my partner we were planning to spend two nights In Marrakech in a riad. To confirm our stay at this accommodation I called to make sure that everything going to be okay which he confirmed during the phone conversation. He also suggested I book directly through their website and that no money would be charged to my credit card that we could pay on arrival. When we arrived at the riad after travelling for 41 hours I was told that we could not stay together. I also noticed that the charge came out of my credit card. The owner of the riad refused to acknowledge our phone conversation and would not refund me for the two nights - not even for one night. There are many lovely people in Marrakech and places to stay. But unfortunately casa Lalla is not one of them and I would suggest finding alternative accomodation

We based our adventures from this Riad for almost 2 weeks in Marrakech. The staff - five star, the accommodation - 5 star. Magical location right in the heart of the Medina. The rooftop patio is a wonderful place to relax, and as a writer, the open courtyard in the center of the Riad was an inspirational place to write. The rooms are clean and luxurious. The cleaning staff is supremely attentive, and the in house restaurant is one of the best for fine dining in Marrakech. Special thanks to Zineb, Mohamed, Hisham for your excellent service. These people really went above and beyond to help us book day trips, hammam treatments and to give us advice and guidance on how to navigate Moroccan customs and culture. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful. I hope to see you again.

This riad is ideally located for a stay in Marrakech, but it's not just for that... the place is charming, our room (7) was spacious and tastefully decorated. The rooftop bar is very nice. The restaurant is worthy of a gourmet establishment, with impeccable service, and kudos to the chef for his generous, perfectly portioned, and beautifully presented dishes, which we enjoyed to the sounds of a local musical duo. The staff were incredibly attentive and pleasant. I recommend it 200%!

We spent New Year's Eve at Casa Lalla with my wife and grandson, and it was a truly lovely and memorable experience. The welcome was incredibly warm, especially towards our grandson, which was much appreciated. The festive dinner was excellent, with an atmosphere that was both celebratory and elegant, yet remained very convivial. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion in peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, but steeped in tradition. A big thank you to the whole team for these wonderful memories!
