And with many groups coming and going at all times it may wake you up without ear plugs. Maybe even WITH them 🤔 because all the floors are “marble” without carpet to absorb sound. Enjoyed a picnic under a roof by the small swimming pool as it looked like rain. Basic Moroccan breakfast. Nothing special. But it is less expensive than the 4&5-star hotels on the “main drag” going to the main square.

This is a basic budget hotel which is very trustworthy as they cater for major tours including Intrepid. This is an important factor when considering a hotel In Marrakech. For the price it’s not bad, it’s a huge hotel and very clean. The rooms, pool and restaurant are basic but location is excellent. It does have an old world charm though with the pink glossy walls and curtains, the leather bed heads have been there since the 1960’s. Expect cake and salads for breakfast - or go next door to the French Bakery!

We were welcomed by helpful hotel staff and check in went smoothly. Our room was massive, with a ton of storage space, a safe that didn't work, a bathtub and shower, lots of electrical outlets, a hair dryer, a bidet, a heat pump for AC, and very comfortable beds. There were three - THREE! - beds in our room. The hotel is very close to the number 1 bus, and that bus will take you to the souk/big mosque for 4 Dirham (exact change required). You could actually walk to the souk in about half an hour and it's a very easy to remember route. There is an attached café/restaurant with mediocre food but great mint tea. The breakfast was pretty good with the usual Moroccan stuff available, but also included chocolate-filled croissants. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The neighborhood felt very safe and was quite lively at night.

Room is noisy. Bed is clean but room is poorly decorated. I had a glow in the dark planet bedspread. SERIOUSLY!!!!! Room looked directly into apartment adjacent and a garbage heap. Noisy with echos in hallways, children screaming around pool. Front desk staff can be inattentive. Breakfast supplied is adequate but suggest attached restaurant.

Decent location in NewTown. 40 minute walk down the main high street to the medina or a 10 minute bus journey. Good facilities and ok breakfasts (if you like pastries and bread). Nice little pool and friendly staff. Also appears to have the fastest elevator I've ever ridden in. The cafe next door is good for food and there is a really nice cake shop just next door too. All in all a decent place to stay in Marrakech. The only downside is that it can get noisy outside at the weekends, where the road outside appears to be used as a drag ***** of cars.

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. It was located in a nice part of town, right by a very modern mall. The Jardin Marjorelle is about a 15 min walk and the old Medina is probably a 40 min walk. Rooms are huge, AC works well. The bathroom was nice with a tub/shower combo. The bed was quite comfortable. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is its terrible breakfast. Morocco hotel breakfasts are pretty bad across the board. Bread, bread, and you guessed it…more bread! I would stay here again if I visited Marrakech in the future.
