This suite is like a mini riad with a private little courtyard, quite beautiful. The room was clean. The restaurant was good. I really liked that you could choose to eat breakfast in the restaurant or in your room. Overall, the service was very good; most staff were friendly and helpful, especially the staff who helped carry luggage and call taxis. The airport transfers and tours of the Old Town and Atlas Mountains booked through the hotel were handled well; they were able to modify the itinerary and reserve lunch locations as requested. The New Year's dinner featured a local music trio and drum performance, which was fantastic. From the terrace, you could see the fireworks in the direction of the square, a beautiful sight against the backdrop of the koutoubia. I didn't give the service full marks because there was a small, unforeseen incident. The night before the Atlas Mountain trip, they first said there was no booking, then said the trip was canceled due to heavy snow, which was a bit unpleasant. After several rounds of questioning and negotiation, they changed their minds and said we could go, and the next day, the sky was clear, there were many tourists, the roads were clear, and there was no snow. We also booked a hammam, which was just average. To get from the hotel to the Old Town Central Square, you have to walk through various markets. Normally, it's quite fun to stroll around, but during the New Year rush, it's often congested and difficult to navigate.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Farnatchi. From the moment we arrived, Walid greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality and gave us a tour of the stunning riad. Our room was beautifully designed, with high ceilings, a luxurious bathroom, and even a private courtyard. The food was exceptional, and every recommendation we were given was just as impressive. The communal spaces are equally gorgeous, truly picture perfect from every angle. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast can be served wherever and whenever you choose, we enjoyed ours on the rooftop, which felt incredibly special. The heated rooms were a huge plus during the cooler December nights, and I loved the large, fluffy towels. Although we didn’t use the spa this time, we had a peek inside and it looked wonderfully luxurious, definitely on the list for our next visit. We can’t wait to return!

Le Farnatchi was one of the highlights of our time in Marrakech. Hidden within the bustling Medina, it feels like a peaceful oasis from the moment you arrive. From the second you get there, you know you're somewhere special. Tucked away among the winding cobblestone streets of the old city, arriving could be challenging on your own, but the team immediately takes care of your bags and guides you through the Medina, making the entire experience seamless. The staff could not have been kinder. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, whether it was walking us to where we needed to go, helping arrange plans, or making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A special thank you to Saaida, Walled, and Aziz, who were absolutely exceptional. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. They embody the level of service that sets Le Farnatchi apart and made us feel more like guests in a home than visitors at a hotel. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, impeccably maintained, and full of character. Everything is exceptionally well cared for, and if there is anything you need, the team is always eager to help. Breakfast each morning was delicious and one of the highlights of our stay. Enjoying it in such beautiful surroundings only added to the experience. The entire property is stunning, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed—a true sanctuary hidden within the energy of Marrakech. If you're looking for a truly special place to stay in Marrakech, I cannot recommend Le Farnatchi highly enough. Luxury, warmth, and genuine hospitality all come together here. We will absolutely be back.

I cannot say enough about this amazing place. First of all, if you are going to experience Morocco and stay in the Medina, you need to skip the hotels and stay in a Riad! We got dropped in the middle of a crowded, dusty, noisy road with kids, cats, dogs and motorbikes everywhere on the narrow road. A hotel staff member met us and along with a man with a cart took our cumbersome bags into instant serenity and calm. Walid, saaeda and Morad were just a few of the staff that we want to point out. We entered to the sound of birds and water and sweet tea and cold cloths and told to just relax now and we did! Room was gorgeous, restaurant across the street was a treat…we wanted for nothing.

Exceptional raid with phenomenal service. Beautiful accommodations and a top notch spa where my friend and I experienced a traditional Hammam and therapeutic massage. We would have stayed longer but this was the day before the start of a group tour. Based on all of the riads we stayed at across morroco over the next 11 days, I would rate Le Farnatchi higher if I could. Wonderful, friendly, and accommodating staff! Thank you for everything!

I absolutely loved my stay at Le Farnatchi Riad. James, Walid, Saeeda, and Morad truly know how to make guests feel welcome, their warmth and attentiveness made the experience exceptional from start to finish. The riad is perfectly located in a safe area, ideal for exploring the nearby shops and galleries. The medina can be easy to get lost in, but the locals are friendly and always happy to help guide you back to this stunning retreat. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the spa is one of the best in Morocco, a real highlight of the stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the team, and their level of care and professionalism is second to none. I would highly recommend Le Farnatchi to anyone visiting Marrakech. It’s a truly special place that makes you feel at home while offering a luxurious and memorable experience.

After much research, we booked here for 4 nights. It is in the heart of the Medina, and we did not really know what to expect having never visited Marrakesh. Our pre arranged taxi dropped us off about 200 yards away, and we were greeted by a bag man and a member of staff who negotiated the donkeys, carts, puddles and madmen on scooters to get us to the riad on one piece. We were wondering what we had let ourselves in for. But the moment we accessed the riad through a sturdy door, the madness outside was shut out, and we were welcomed by the excellent Saida, and her colleagues into an oasis of calm. The staff could not do enough, organised everything we needed, including evening dining in excellent restaurants within a stone’s throw, and complementary teas on the wonderful roof top terrace. The team made our stay a memorable one.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some truly wonderful hotels around the world, and Riad Farnatchi ranks firmly among the very best. Quite simply, everything was 10/10. Without a shadow of a doubt, every single member of staff is polite, courteous, and works incredibly hard to ensure guests have the best possible experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything we wanted was organised with remarkable efficiency and genuine care , from arranging afternoon tea at Royal Mansour, to providing a wonderful guide to take us around the medina and help us source several items, to what must surely be the best cooking class in Marrakech at Le Maison Aribe. We made full use of both the restaurant and the spa, and would especially like to thank the amazing restaurant team and the incredible Fatia, who gave my husband and I a spectacular hammam treatment. We were scrubbed from head to toe! She is an absolute gem, and Riad Farnatchi is very lucky to have her. Our suite was spacious and luxurious, a true sanctuary, with beautiful toiletries and plush towels provided. It really was an oasis from the madness of the Medina of Marrakesh. The riad also has a bar and a swimming pool, both perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a special mention for the yoghurt and the fresh oranges. These were served daily by a kindly elder-statesman server whose gentle care and consideration made mornings feel especially calm and welcoming. The mint tea also deserves its own praise! On our very first night we became quite unwell, and the care we received was extraordinary. Staff immediately sent someone to a pharmacy to obtain medicine and arranged for food to be served to our room. The following days, multiple staff members checked in to ask how we were feeling. How many hotels or riads would do that? The level of genuine care blew us away. We will be recommending Riad Farnatchi to all our friends in the UK and will absolutely be returning ourselves. A truly exceptional stay!

We stayed at Le Farnatchi for our girls weekend in Marrakech. It was perfect. Our Suite (9) was spacious, spoiling, and very warm which was appreciated with the cold Marrakech nights/ mornings in December. I love Le Farnatchi for their style, it’s location - central yet quiet, the breakfast (delicious) that could be taken anytime/ anywhere in the riad, but most of all for the incredible staff. Caring, kind, and discreet. Thank you for looking after so well.

Le Farnatchi is an oasis of calm and luxury. My husband and I traveled for 3 weeks around Morocco and stayed in 10 different small properties and it was our favorite by far. The people were all delightful, and Saida took especially good care of us, always warm and helpful. The common spaces are gorgeous and our suite (#8), which overlooked the serene courtyard, was spacious, elegantly decorated, overflowing with local character, and supremely comfortable. In the middle of the chaotic medina with all of the motorbikes, it was amazing how peaceful it was during the day and quiet overnight. We slept uncommonly well. Breakfasts were outstanding, including the most flavor-packed orange juice we've ever tasted, delicious homemade yoghurt, and freshly made breads, which we chose to be served on our balcony. You can also request eggs which will be cooked to your liking. I had a wonderful, relaxing treatment in their hammam thanks to Fatia. I especially enjoyed the calm music that she played. I've had other hammam experiences and this was the most enjoyable. We had 2 very good dinners at Le Trou au Mur, conveniently located just across the alley, though I'll review the restaurant separately. There are many choices in Marrakech but I doubt that you could find anyplace better than this.

My daughter and I had our first ever Hammam at Le Farnatchi and were very impressed with the beautiful peaceful surroundings and treatments. Fatima was very friendly and made us feel totally at ease. She explained all the products as she applied and we loved the whole experience. Would definitely recommend.
