Very average for the price, cleanliness of the common areas limit... Very old room and bathroom without equipment (for my part without shower curtain..) I didn't know before arriving but the parking lot must be booked in advance (15€/d) otherwise impossible to put your car and the streets around meh meh The advantage would be the location... there is the Joliette metro at 50m

The rooms are to small, there missing fridge and hair dryer. I won't be back more there.

There was ants in my room, ants in the bathroom, there was a bad smell in the room, room obviously hadn't been cleaned, I had to leave early as the room was not fit for purpose. Very disappointing, would not recommend.

Racist behavior, dirty room, stay to be avoided at all costs I am deeply shocked by my experience at the B&B Hotel Marseille Centre La Joliette. From the moment I arrived, I encountered racist behavior from the receptionist. Their attitude was contemptuous and discriminatory, and I clearly felt I was being treated differently because of my origins. In addition, the requests I had made when booking—a room on a high floor with an unobstructed view—were ignored. Instead, I was assigned a room on a lower floor, whose window directly overlooked the trash cans. This clearly seemed intentional. The room itself was in poor condition: dust everywhere, dirty walls, a bathroom barely cleaned, and toilet paper not replaced. The lack of hygiene and respect for customers is unacceptable. I strongly advise against this establishment, not only for its lack of cleanliness, but especially for the discriminatory treatment I experienced there. Racism has no place in a hotel that claims to be welcoming.

The front desk is friendly and the service is very friendly. The room facilities are new, clean and complete. The location is excellent. The tram and subway are downstairs, which is very convenient.

Good location, close to the old port, there are strange people downstairs in the morning and evening

Although the shower curtain had a bit of mould on the bottom, the rest of the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was made up and fresh towels were provided every day. The service and facilities are good although limited due to the type of hotel it is. The location is perfect, very close to everything and with metro line 2 across the street. In conclusion, a good establishment at a good price.

Good morning, I spent one night in this (b&b hotel la Joliette). The hotel is superbly located. Clean and very friendly staff.

I was assigned a room on the first floor, and due to France's big win at the Rugby World Cup, I could hear the noise from the bar next door until around 3pm. To be honest, the soundproofing is not very good as I could hear conversations that were not that loud. Other than that, the location and the staff's response were good, so a room on a different floor or facing might have given a different impression.

Hotel well located in town, 25 minutes walk from the Old Port. Metro/bus nearby. Very friendly staff, especially reception. I recommend

Desiring cleanliness

I was very satisfied with this hotel, quiet and close to the quays and the MUCEM. For a very reasonable price, the room is welcoming, quite spacious and very clean. Air conditioning during this period of high heat constituted an additional criterion of choice. A small downside: it's a shame that the hotel does not offer the possibility of leaving your luggage in storage but you can find this service nearby, 5 minutes from Place Joliette.
