The hotel is basic, chosen based on price (there were no decent options left in Takamatsu on Friday). It's easy to get there by car - there's a large parking lot and a shopping mall nearby. Transportation is a bit of a hassle - the only bus runs every two hours on a circular route from the station, so be aware of that. To get to Matsuyama, we had to walk 2 km to the highway - there's an intercity bus there (you have to look for the stop, and it's best to book a seat in advance, otherwise you can't guarantee a seat - we were lucky). The rooms are tiny, but have everything you need (kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, air conditioning). The bathroom is spacious by Japanese standards, but the room is a bit cramped. The hotel is surrounded by nothing (only a shopping mall and a stadium), and is located in a village. Breakfast (buffet) is average (rice/sausages/omelette/curry). Juice - mango/carrot. Yogurt, pineapple, waffles. You can fill up if you want...

I made a mistake in my reservation, so my father, grandson and I ended up in a double room. Naturally, we couldn't sleep and were exhausted. The heating wasn't working and it was small. There was no phone, so if we needed to go down to the first floor, which was confusing. We also had to borrow a charger.

When I tried to check in, it seemed my name was not on the reservation list at the front desk, so it took quite a while before I was able to check in after showing them the email from your company to prove that my reservation was complete.

My plans changed and I couldn't stay there, but I've been using the previous facility and I think it's good value for money. I'd definitely like to stay there again if I have a chance.
